@@Elder650 I agree when it comes to O General window AC it is a far superior AC... But in inverter AC O general is not that successful and yes O General AC are made in Thailand and is fully imported..... O general AC particularly non inverter is long lasting their window AC last Very long.....

@@Elder650 inverter AC takes some time to cool the room but when that temperature is achieved it maintained the steady temperature..... If you buy any low branded inverter AC .. The pcb will turn out to be faulty.. That is why brandes like Mitsubishi electric and o general are offering 5 year warranty on PCB... This is one component which has major issues then condenser and evaporator coil leak.... Non inverter AC are more reliable but in terms of power saving and Electricity, inverter is a better option... So we should buy inverter AC from reputed brands... But even reputed brands have problems in inverter AC....

It’s new tech it failed in beginning and units use to have breakdowns but now brands are offering warranties on Inv PCBs being comfident about them and the tech has been refined. Also think about your Elec backup inverter. It’s soo old tech that we forget because of reliability. And I won’t endorse or say anything about other brands but in General we get “powerful” mode which actually works differently than others so what it does it runs AC above Max rated current (we get two type of max current rating in general) like my 2 ton units runs at 2.3 ton for a period of time to cool down the room like any non inv AC. Essentially doing what non inv ac does run on full blast

O general is far better than hitachi in terms of cooling and overall build quality but hitachi saves more energy and comes with more features like filter cleaning reminder etc.

O General is also fully made in Thailand bro. And there’s no comparison for O General window AC even MHI never had 5-6 row condenser coils.
