I remember seeing the Sykes Show at a theatre in Torquay as kid in the 1970s. It was one of those nights where everything went wrong with the rotating set. Eric saved the day with his quick ad libs. Even Hattie struggled to keep a straight face. It was absolutely hilarious. A true genius.
