Filharmonic seem to lean toward a pop/boy-band version of Voiceplay - liking the costumery and makeup, and with the really tight rhythms and coordination. As of the time of the Sing-off appearance with Home Free, they were fully acapella (but who knows, Home Free has had a number of songs with instruments since then, so maybe these guys have too. )
I'm a HF fan, but they don't do Halloween. So no one steered you towards Geoff Castellucci (VoicePlay's bass singer) "Monster Mash", "Headless Horseman" or "Jack's Lament"? Or Broken Peach (female singers w/band) "This Is Halloween", "I Put a Spell On You"? Oh, well, maybe next year?
