Primary production should be g/m^2 and productIVITY should be g/m^2/Yr. As per NCERT. Please check and let us know.

Primary production is given to be AMOUNT of biomass production produced per unit area per unit time during photosynthesis. . And GPP is the RATE of production of organic matter per u it area and time during photosynthesis.
