I got my EDP version yesterday after doing a ton of research on this product and let me say I just sprayed it once, I repeat once on the back of my hand to see what the craze is about......that was yesterday and after washing my hands several times between then and now the smell is STILL there. Wow I'm super impressed

@@jalonkickz3859 From the research I did I found that the overwhelming majority say that the EDP smells better and lasts longer than it's EDT counterpart. Plus you get more value for money as the quantity is greater per dollar. So better quality + better quality = EDP

What's the batch date of your bottle? My Aug. 2020 EdP is very weak.

I honestly like the lemony opening it is such a surpriselike catches you off gaurd compared to what it dries down to and of course the dry down is just bliss. The edt last me over 8 hours and my skin eats up fragrances.

Have both, like EDP better, better opening with better dry down in my opinion.
So the EDP is essentially the EDT with a more "polished" opening.
And less smoky drydown.
Yeh the dry downs are a bit different

Fun fact: I called off work one day (sick) to go to my local carnival. I rode the tilt-a-whirl and when I got off the ride my boss was standing at the exit waiting for me….she said “every time that ride went around I could smell you”….I’m from southeast Kentucky and nobody here knows what the frag is so this GETS ME HELLA compliments.

@@Mantic03 I live in Brazil, and I really believe in it many years ago I bought a decant sample of it and it had a very good super natural pineapple, and I decided to buy the whole bottle, when I got home I felt the fragrance was pure lemon 😭 very potent , then I ended up selling it, from what I've seen several reviews the venture haramay has pineapple nuances

I tried the edt and it smells amazing. Kinda had that gasoline smell at first but disappeared after i left it alone in my cabinet for a while. The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't last long on my clothes or skin. Im gonna give the edp version a try..
Got the EDP on the way. I'm pretty excited. My brother has the EDT and loved it. I heard this was a lot more. Fruity on top and smooth all around

I just got mine yesterday and it's 12/20 and it last even longer than the edt which is already a 12hr beast. It projects alot less though. His review is acuall the most spot on I've scene

Great review, I've just ordered the EDP based upon your evaluation. I was somewhat on the fence about getting the EDT version because of the harsh first impressions and comments about household lemon cleaner scent on opening stacking up; but, I feel better about my decision.

@@marcusblack1203 I was pleasantly surprised, it was a great purchase. The dry down time was reasonable, about ten minutes. Great projection, nice compliments from women making repeat trips to inhale me and I have zero regrets. I also purchased Milestone, (Creed Millesime Imperial) and Sillage, (Creed Silver Mountain Water). Get them.

@@blueskyvibes since the comments I received it. Do it's OK I am really happy with it I ve got the French version and for it last and project like a beast! Really the first day I have put 6 spray on me! What a big mistake!!! Only 3 spray max. The opening is a little harsh but it's nothing.. I think when my bottle of edt would be finished I will try the edp version. So don't worry if you take edt its OK.

Joel, I'm glad you did this video as I'm sure many were anticipating it. I have all three CDNIM variations - EDT, EDP, and the Limited Edition EDP, and I must say that the Limited Edition EDP is my favorite by a large margin because it really does smell very close to the older batches of Aventus including the opening. And between the EDP and EDT, I find the EDP less lemony, more pineapply, and less smokey in the drydown resembling the newer batches of Aventus. The EDT, in comparison, has a more smokey drydown with a more lemony opening. As for the performance, I find the Limited Edition EDP the longest lasting with the best projection and sillage, followed by the EDP and EDT.

I get next to no performance from my Aug. 2020 batch of the EdP. What's the date of your batch? I have a 2016 bottle of the EdT that's extremely strong. I find it to be no comparison to the weaker EdP.

Joy Amin already debunked the Special Edition myth. It's no different than the others besides the bottle design. My husband just layers the EDT and EDP for maximum longevity and projection. Last 12 hours easily. Smells identical to his old 2010 batch of Aventus.

My jan 2021 edp is a 12 hour room filling beast it can literally choke me out its so strong and it has 0 lemon its a pine tree sapp opening and dry down is a really smoky ambroxan sweet woody smell its amazing my question is my atomizer is not engraved with armaf but everyone else is , is that normal ?

It's a insane beast and last on my clothes over 24h. And everyone likes it.
Next time I'll get the EDP version to do a comparison with the Parfum.
I also got Milestone and Sillage from Armaf. Both are also Creed clones but like Intense Men, the performance is much better than Creed.
Armaf products are made to perform like crazy. Don't sniff on the sprayed spots directly. Cause it will choke you out.
Instead check the sillage from their fragrances. They smell really good.
My personal Armaf ranking:
1. Intense Men Parfum
2. Sillage
3. Milestone
And the value proposition is excellent.
You get a lot for your money.
I recommend you to start with one of the CDNIM versions.

There is a Special Edition of the EDP . They have refined it a bit more and it’s much closer to older batches of Aventus. Best out of the three versions

Very well balanced, moderate sillage and longevity, so I bought the same one as a stocking stuffer.
I'm also interested in the bottle design.
Especially the color.
It's not just gold, it's slightly prismatic. It's hard to see in sunlight, but you can see it in LED light.

i got myself the EDT last year. i believe it was a batch from nov 2019 made in france, but i resold it. it smelled nice, but i could barely smell it an hour in. i had very high expectations due to the hype, so i was greatly disappointed. but with the advent of the EDP, i might revisit this fragrance.

@@rashid5103It depends. From reading online reviews on amazon and fragantica etc some people say they prefer the edt because it projects better. I've learnt to always decide "the best " for myself when it comes to fragrances. Because everyone has their own personal opinion.
I own the edt 2022 batch purchased about a year ago and I have no problem with it.i didn't even mind the lemon opening cos that only lasts a few minutes. And the lemon is not so strong on mine to be honest ,maybe they toned it down a bit. I get more Pineapple 🍍 in the opening now maybe because of maceration
People are exaggerating the opening - it's not that bad EDT is better than the EDP in performance

You could actually mix mont blanc explorer with CDNIM EDT in a travel bottle mostly mont blanc explorer with just a little of CDNIM EDT because it's stronger. You got Creed aventus all the way 100%

You should buy the EDP over the EDT since newer batches from EDT are really bad with performance. I have the EDT 04/2022 Batch and it lasts for 4 hours max. Sadly
Have you tried to macerate frag? Because I bought Edt 04/22 batch, and have the same issue, also my frag has a smell of harsh lemon(nothing to do with Creed Aventus). Some people recommend to macerate this fragrance, and it will last longer.

Thanks Joel the Nose. You are the only perfumerer I take seriously. What's you say goes. I blind bought Club De Nuit EDP and I was frankly blown away. It is just heavenly. It's absolutely completely and totally divine. It's a complete and utter beast. The Longevity just goes on and on and on.
I bought this and it does not project . You have to be right on top of it to smell it . Have I got a bad bottle
I have bought 30 ml EDP 22 batch first and I absolutely love it. Lasts more than 10 hours and a lot of compliments. After that I decided to buy 200ml of EDP 21 batch and I am surprised how weaker it is in comparison with small bottle. The projection is not the same…I’ve read that I need to leave the 200 ml to macerate for a month and shake it, I am making this for 10 days already and it changes. Was disappointed but now I start to be optimistic.

By the time I bought an original Aventus batch22B11 and sprayed both of them on my arms, and both me an my wife observed how similar they are and the performance of CDNIM was much more better. I do like the EDP better but the EDT isn't harsh by my nose in any way. Both are great fragrances. TBH, I prefer them over Creed Aventus

Your review of these 2 fragrances is so spot on to what exactly I experience. I wonder if other reviewers are either lying don't no what thier talking about or you and I have very similar noses ? My Own view.The Result of the whole energetic discussion Is To Buy Club de Nuit EDP not the EDT.EDP smells like 90% Creed Aventus type,smooth, Lemon at the top, fresh and then Vanilla.9-8 hours long lasting if you apply on skin.
Prefer Club de Nuit EDP.
I love this juice so much, in either variation EDT & EDP. It's my signature scent. Without Club De Nuit, I would never be able to wear this fragrance, Creed Aventus is way to expensive for me to ever consider buying! As for the harsh opening, I have never had an issue with it, smells strong and fresh to my nose, love it. Big up to all the decent clone houses for making overly expensive fragrances affordable to the average Joe like me....long live the clones!!
Hello Joel. I've only tried the EDT version (i.e. between the two) and I like it; I think that this kind of fragrance is of an ideal nature for me. I just want to know if you 've smelled the patchouli that's in it after it's dried down for a while. I think that many people who talk about that fragrance don't mention the patchouli that's in it.

I've been juggling on what will I buy between the three versions of CDNIM but I finally settled with EDP. Since it's more bang for your buck and the difference between the OG and the limited edition is so tolerable. That an average nose won't even know the difference when it all comes to dry down.

I have bought the edt few days ago. As a kinda „ex parfumer „ I really like the smell. It smells kinda „mainstream“ manly. I don’t have the complain about the beginning Note. One of my friend doesn’t like it at all, but he has a kinda weird taste. I got one kinda negative remark but I got way to much sprayed on and the person was a kinda hater. The projection and intensity seems kinda loud so I would use max 3 sprays. Have to use it longer to give a better feedback.
Edit: I find Afnan not only intense better.

EDP is so good. It smells better than Aventus and way outperforms it. I get compliments every time I wear it.
I personally recommend the edp. The opening is much better. They fixed that which was the only thing being mentioned with the edt. This one is more refined. Just don't go insane on the sprays. 4 to 6 is more than enough.

It comes down to what you want out of the frag. To me, the smokyness is what makes the scent, that's what i wanna smell when i put this on. If i want a more Vanilla oriented scent, i'd just wear something else altogether. But i'm sure the EDP will take the spot of the EDT for a lot of people too...simply a matter of taste. The only thing is that i don't think the price tag of the EDP justify such a minor difference compared to the EDT
“Double the size” isn’t a minor difference
EDP is twice as big for twice as much so same price really. EDT is better though. EDP is too much citrus not enough wood.
Edp is better simply because doesn’t have that stove cleaner opening 😂

Joel all I do is layer CDNIM EDT with mont blanc explorer and bam there you go all the notes are there from both fragrances pineapple, bergamot, black current and apple, birch, patchouli, you get the rest simple science
Only thing I don’t like about the edt (the only one I’ve tried) is that after while I just hate smelling it. Idk what it is abt it. But by the end of the night, I like the way it smells, but my scent palette just gets exhausted from it.
Tired of smelling good? I need this cologne! Heard it's a straight "Lady Killer". If you're getting that many hours on the EDT I can only imagine the longevity of the EDP!
@@halfnorfolk5310 it’s my nose. It picks up the synthetic notes which sometimes come off as, well, synthetic lol. But it’s definitely a guaranteed compliment getter. Same w Sauvage, don’t like the synthetic notes, but man do girls love that stuff

How is the performance?
About 7-8 hours
I didn't get the EDT version I got the EDP. and for people that are getting this cologne, the thing you need to realize and really look forward to and want, is the DRY DOWN after like 15 minutes that's where it really shines it doesn't shine as much the first spray but after I'd say 15 minutes you will really really get the best scent out of it..

I have a 05/21 bottle of the EDP, and when I first sprayed it it was a beast, but now whenever I wear it I swear it's super weak? Feel like it doesn't last long AT ALL, maybe I'm going nose blind to it?
For sure youre nose blind, same happened to me but people around me could feel it
I have a decant of creed aventus and CDNIM edt. the opening of creed is a bright sharp lemon, not as sharp in ur face as CDNIM edt but its closer and the dry down is so close. I am shocked.

No montblanc explorer… i testet it today and it didnt even last 3 hours and its more expensive
Nuit is better and way cheaper

I have the Mont Blanc - beautifully rounded but it dies away to a light skin scent soooo quickly

Why it's true. The older edt people said it was beast mode so i tried it and got a February 2019 batch and it was completely gone after 90 minutes so it makes sense that youu wouldn't want to waste you're money on a frag that barely lasts 90 minutes no matter how cheap. .especially when you can get the edp that does last
