Hey. Love the channel and first time trying one if your recipes. For some reason all I can taste is chocolate from the cocoa powder and not Nutella. Is it a specific type of powder used?

There are soooo many different cocoa powders and some are really weak and some incredibly strong. What one did you you use?
In my chocolate series and talk a lot about cocoa powders and how they differ.
I’d recommend a fat reduced cocoa powder if you are tasting it too much and drop the amount used by 50%. You can also up the Nutella by 10% if you want.

In the ice cream base recipe, written 50g milk powder. Is it supposed to be cocoa powder, as shown in video?

You are absolutely right, after all this time nobody pointed that out 😂. I’ve changed it to cocoa powder on the description. 👍

I just made the base for this one and was surprised the milk powder is added only 30 min or so before churning, is there a reason for that? And in your experience. How long can the marshmallow creme sit before we churn the ice cream?

You can add the SMP during heating as normal, it was just to show people different ways of doing things. The m/m creme can last for days in the fridge if make correctly. If not, it will only last a few hours at room temp before separation happens.
