Shri. V C Cherian - An era of soulful compositions

This is a documentary (disregarding the duration) on the oldest hymn player in Kottayam, Kerala - Shri V.C Cherian (VCC).
As a little boy VCC would ponder on every musical notes he was taught. He would memorise the music and sing it from church till home so that he wouldn't forget the pitch.
The start of the video is an array of pictures. This represent his humble beginnings. His beginnings into music and how he started to dream. A lifelong dream which was finally fulfilled. That's when the pictures end along with the narration by Alan Watt's speech on dreams. The last picture portrays a newspaper clipping about his musical genius. Something he lived to achieve along the way by the will of God.
That is VCC to this day. It gives me great honour to document his life and humbles me to see such a gifted person owing all his talents to the Almighty above.
As VCC turns 86 yrs old this 2020, here is a tribute for his work and lifelong commitment to the church and music.

Deeply saddened to hear about his demise yesterday.May his soul rest in peace.I am sure that he will be counted in the heavenly choir.I am so happy that I got musically instructed from my childhood days until my youth days.It was a great experience.He was such a noble person.I am thankful to him always.
