- My wife and daughter gave me some quite creative gifts 🎁 today to celebrate 🎉 the big 60! Yumiko retired last month in April, eight months ahead of me, and she made a custom t-shirt for me to wear and remind me that my turn is coming soon! 👍 She even slipped in the slogan “Be safe… But not too safe.” from my book, Going Alone. Nice touch! 😉 Daughter Emily made me a pair of custom dog leashes to use with Rudy 🐩 and Ollie 🐕🦺, as the three of us commence in July our upcoming half-year Prius tour of California, before then joining the family in Japan 🇯🇵. Thank you family, 🙏 for making year 60 🎉 more commencement than reminder of the simple fact of growing old. 🌸😊 (KB)

whats the real reasoning for leaving 6 months after the family ? just solo adventure basically ? no schedules, just live ?
deserved. so that would be understandable. what a wild and lucky earned request that not many can afford.
There are two reasons to stay behind. The first reason is the dogs, who won’t be ready to fly until December. The second reason is that I want to finish my last project at work after these things are done then I will feel free to leave.
