I was lucky because U found out this video. And now I gained new phrases that I can use when I speak English with my friends. Now, I would be polite enough by using these phrases. Thank you.
The word "sorry" isn't only simple but useful when I want to remain polite. Plus, it's also important to learn both polite & rude words & expressions. Anyway, thanks for sharing a great English lesson! I still need your great help for my English!
Dear Gill, thank you so much for your lessons. In this day and age I really appreciate it when someone takes the time to make a video to help some random strangers. You have a soothing voice and your explanations are always insightful. Thank you so much, I am looking forward to your next videos!
Dear Gill. Can you do more examples using Do, Does, Was, Have. In negative y question form? I need improve my speaking please. Thank you. I admire you. You are very smart.
Excelent video! My first language is Portuguese. I was in Seattle 3 months ago and I used "sorry", "could you repeat, please" all the time. Thank you so much to help us with these amazing video classes!
I really like the way you teach some English sentences Madam..you made it so clear, so easy to understand. Besides that, you always emphasized the needs to be polite. Thank you very much Madam.
I had a friend who, when she didn't quite catch what you said, would simply say "Please?" with a slight movement of the head and the same kind of upward inflection as you describe for "sorry." To me that sounded both warm and inviting, yet polite and cool, at the same time - possibly because it was so different from what I was used to hearing and yet refreshingly apt for the situation.
Marisa Martino Foggia Italia You're a very good teacher, able to speak clearly and to explain in a practical way, with a lot of examples taken from daily life. My best congratulations!!!
iam from swiss and my english isnt very well, but i dont have any problems to understand this lady. all what shes is saying is pretty clear and easy to following.

I love this video. I communicate with a lot of leaders and non- leaders at work, and it's really hard for me to say "sorry" and "please" all the time. Additionally, the word sorry doesn't even exist in my languages, so that makes it even harder for me to use the word. I've had good and bad practices on using both words and I still struggle with it today. I feel like I need to work on this, as well as my tone, and delivery. Thank you.

Lady, you're the empress of the english language. My compliments!
I used "what?" once when I was talking with the people in our first meeting. I didn't know that it's rude. Thank you for making this vdo.
Am no expert but "what" is informal

Some people in the Midwest use, please, as in please repeat it instead of pardon or . Sorry.
