We just got our first bully, after having Mastiffs for years... Our Kora is soooo sweet... She protects her much bigger Tibetan Mastiff sister(she's autistic) from their older English mastiff brother.... lol
I have an American Bully but she's mixed with an American pitbull she is perfect companion this breed saved my life in a fire if it wasn't for my bully I would have been dead she pulled me out of the house you can ask for any better of a dog Bella is such a wonderful dog and she's a fun

This is all SO fascinating. Before about 4 months ago, I had NO IDEA that there were all of these separate sizes and kinds of BULLY BREED dogs. Over the years, I have owned Pitty mixes, and knew my BFF's 3 Pitt Bull dogs. And, so, when it came to my bff's 3 Pitt Bulls, 1 had to be put down for trying to KILL his own son. So, the DOG had tried to KILL his own CANINE SON. It was sad, but, he had almost succeeded in killing his own pup who had been an adult dog then. The adult pup that had survived his own dad dog trying to KILL him, was left with permanent scars around his neck. And, to add insult to injury, the vet that my bff took him to had tried to tell my bff to just "put him down". That vet was cheap, but, NOT worth it. Anyway, thank God that he did save his life. ANYWAY, my bff's Pitt Bull was not too big, or too small. And, at the time, I could only GUESS that HE must have been a STANDARD bully dog. He was sweet. I had cared for him AND HIS MOM when my bff went on vacation years ago. Before I actually got into the house, and the dogs saw me, I was kinda wondering IF the vicious noises would end once they saw me. And, they did. They BOTH put up a GREAT show. Knowing those Pitts just made me feel more confident that Pitts CAN be VERY sweet and loving IF socialized. AND, my bff's Pitts WERE socialized BIG TIME. While they had the pups, they had lots of people over for parties AND GET TOGETHERS, so those pups were not ruffled by meeting new people.
Standard doesn't have Mastiff or any giant breed in there.... and it's not exactly known what Bulldog or if there was one incorporated into the pocket or standard which would have been through Dax... Dax is in damn near almost every pedigree but him and his creator are dead.... sure there's probably an element of bulldog in the bully from Dax but this is not a mixed dog... they are absolutely mainly pitbull and amstaff as that's how the bully was created.

Dogos were started with staffs nd bulldogs only like 11 generations later gaining the mouth structure nd build grey added mastiff nd another.... looking at the dogo now you wouldn't say its first 3 parents were pitballs lol. Bulldogs are also pits so yes bully's have bulldog nd mastiff in them... they were looking for a type nd once they found it they bred that build into breed
My first American bully was a pocket bully got him when he was 6 months old had him for 4 months my mom let him and my black lab out they got out of my yard and he was hit and killed at 10 months old
I have an American Bully, and, to be honest, unless they are trained properly they can be very aggressive, especially toward other dogs. And that mouth is no joke. He has destroyed every toy I ever bought him. Supposedly indestructible toys.
How are small bullies and large ones the same dog and genetically they are not the same dog. People are going to destroy this breed before it even starts. Because they are focused on money and not quality

Micros are not recognized...just because people are breeding to make them does not ensure that they are recognized by kennel clubs. Micros are new and unhealthy a true micro comes with too many deformities with a life span of 5 years tops.....they don't belong in the category
Anything smaller than pocket isn't covered in the breed standard... do you know what dwarfism is ? People breeding micro Exotics or simply compounding on the dwarfism trait are ruining the face and reputation of the true American Bully.
I have a standard bully there’s just nothing I can do with the pocket bully. My dog is a bodyguard in the home protector. They A pocket bully or a micro bully, don’t fit their bill, f@@k around and get a overdraft fee…
It's a matter of preference, as it is done at such a young age it is similar to a baby having a circumcision. With cropped ears especially on my xl I have found it much easier to keep her ears clean and free from infection. My standard has floppy ears and it's much more of a hassle.
It's still ridiculous I think@@jasonconley771, It's just to make them look tougher and was only introduced with fighting dogs so the opponent had less to bite and rip, and if that's the reason someone owns a dog then they shouldn't be getting a dog. I don't agree with ear hygiene either, none of my dogs have ever got an ear infection, ever. Each to their own but no dog "needs" it. It's purely for ego

Pocket has english bulldog in it standard and xl has mastiff in their lineage.
