Had to open a window to let some cool air in my house. My living room is overheating from all my banjos in the wood stove. That was absolutely awesome! You are one fine banjo picker. Perfect timing. You're the best. Thanks for sharing.
First, what a wonderful arrangement, each time around. Also, your tone is wonderful. Each note sounds clean, right. This is my first time hearing you but not the last. Well done.
That 'thunk' you might've heard was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and hang up my banjo... forever. All kidding aside, I've never heard a finer rendition of that tune. You, sir, are the master.
Hi, in this video I'm playing an Ome. It is their Oddyssey model, curly maple neck and resonator, gold plated hardware with Ome's "Megatone 200" tone ring, radiussed ebony fretboard, and some engraving custom made for Winfield, the National Banjo Championships.
Steven Moore hey thanks for that. Btw, i was curious if you used any music theory to help you find the notes on the fretboard, or if you play more by ear.
A little bit of both. Mostly for me it's about trying to be creative and play something a little bit different than it's been done before. Finding the notes I want to play comes next!
Excellent playing and arrangement....Jack Baker
