Tbh i think it’s also because sg schools don’t allow makeup and our own outfits, not like US high schools where there aren’t school uniforms. There are fewer opportunities to explore fashion and find personal styles in Singapore 🤷🏻♀️ and more people would have less experience with makeup in sg while growing up
US people can wear more layers, and tbh layering clothing is easier to make fancy or stylish.
