Gonna see The Oils on 2nd October in Canberra!!I know my son and I(& just about everyone else who was at the outdoor gig in Canberra in April) was pretty pissed off we'd been standing in torrential rain & a thunderstorm for bloody damn near 5 hours!!When some dickhead came out to announce that the Oils wouldn't be playing,SO MANY people were severely pissed off,after all,it wasn't their lives at risk,it was OURS-they would've been under cover,we weren't!!Just would've be nice to have a message from the Oils.(No apology or personalised message for us poor soaked to the skin fans-I-ve been following Midnight Oil since I was an under-age rager!!And my kids were brought up on alternative/meaningful/protest music & musicians!!Peace to all,maybe see you at the gig at ANU on 2nd October!!WE RESIST!!

@@Mexxx65 I saw them live in the early 1980s when they played at our University hall in melbourne. Incredible energy on stage. One of those Aussie bands that had something to say as well creative great music (maybe the only Aussie band)
Sound as good as they did when I first heard the oils back in 1983. I really admire you blokes forr standing up for your beliefs and the way your songs express and reflect this is just unbelievable.
