Certainly one of the most iconic along side the red 1966 World Cup final shirt. I had this shirt back in 1980 and Admiral sportswear sent me the sewn on England and Admiral patches to authenticate my jersey along with a iron on red number 7 for Kevin Keegan all free of charge. Admiral were a great sportswear company.
Nope not for me - 78/79 admiral kit with the blue red full arm stripe is...but mainly cos the matte blue shorts with perfect white and red stripe looked amazing 😉
nope, navy is for the scots. the royal blue were much better. Both this and the other Admiral shirt were fanytstic, far better than the boring umbro and nike shirts that are basically just white with bits of navy blue, horrible.
Diego Maradona swapped shirts with Kevin Keegan after an England v Argentina friendly at Wembley in May 1980, which England won 3-1. Keegan was the superstar of world football then.

Just bought a replica so yes I would say one of the best ! I love the 96 kit too
Great kit but for my own reasons it has to be the 1990 red away shirt
1990 away is a nice shirt tbf

My answer is No; the Blue ought to be darker (Navy).
