5th of july at sheffield cathedral st peter st pauls 13 bells

now this is the sheffield cathedral on my friday evening trip instead of Halifax minster because there was no practice because there were conserts on so i came on a lovley beautifull train ride from halifax to leeds then on platform 5 A i got the slow train because i missed it so it took me an hour and a minute to get to sheffield city centre i got to sheffield around 5 mins past 12 i got a little bit lost but soon found my way up to the city centre nothing much there about it but it was a day ot for me warm and sunny cool yes the cathedral does ring on a sunday afternoons from 3 o clock till 4 pm so i may go there sometimes for a change only when kirkheaton isnt ringing ok i was waiting for a 1 single bell to ring which it normaly does for 10 mins for the evensong daily service about 5 20 till 5 30 pm it will do this for every service before the begining by stuart mills nobody was ringing the angelist bell its set on a timer like york st wilfrids is ok hope you like sheffield cathedral st peters st pauls st maries is just a few yards along the cathedral has a peal of 12 bells for full circle ringing like rotheram minster and bradford cathedral as well 12 bells halifax ossitte wakefield leeds minster 12 bell ringing full peals the others are just extras to ring the smaller bells west yorkshire and south yorkshires 12 bell towers only 10 bell towers mirfield st marys marsden st bartholomews huddersfield st peters less bells to ring 10 bell towers in west yorkshire only pontefact st giles as well 10 bells knottingley st botolphs 10 bells pontefact way yes by stuart mills bellringing friends the smallest tinyest peal is 3 bells for ringing normanton all saints castleford all saints metholey st olswald 3 bells featherstone all saints 3 bells west yorkshire only hooton pagnell and hicklton all saints 3 bells south yorks roundhay church near harwood house 3 bells ground floor ring unringable 3
