Genuinely couldn't disagree more.
However they were recorded, the vocals are a massive step down from the original.
are we listening to the same song? the vocals must have at least a dozen different effects running on them, these vocals are not 'natural' in any way. they may not be heavily 'autotuned' (although, there is still some), but they are definitely heavily overproduced lol
@@AndrewSmith-ub6xs lol. I shot this video and mixed it. Not a single effect on any vocals here. All natural room reverb mixed together from 3 microphones. Literally couldn't be less produced 😂

When I heard Be(li)ve for the first time, I thought about a new level. I listened to This Is The Six and liked it, after a while I downloaded it to "Free Lossles Audio Codec"and through the equalizer I listen to what I can say - I love it. Today I'm waiting for 29/03/24 to hear the entire Self Hell album, I'm already burning with impatience.
I would loooooove to hear the entirety of them performing "Trophies" from The North Stands For Nothing in this basement session! It would sound so sick with how much better vocally they all are (they can all sing much better since that EP plus it'd be a 4 part harmony!) PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ SLEEPS!!!!

This is the most important band in the world to me. God I love them.
Even If I didn't like this style of music and I prefer Heavy stuff by far, I appreciate and I'm glad you guys by not forgetting the old songs. but I think there is a bit to much samplers, autotune and electronic stuff in his latets works and I don't think you need it, you guys are amazing as you are and sounds even better without all this extra stuff already and I know that cause I been listening them since 2016.

I used to listen to this song in my car before visiting a friend of mine who had a cancer to give me strengh. He died nearly a year ago. I love this new version, but I can't watch the video for too long because when the camera turns like that, it makes me seasick (videosick?)!

Well, consider me more thankful for the original.
I personally think the vocals, not the singing but they sound muted and distant, is a massive step back.
From what you've released already, this is the 4th best or 4.
The guest version is #2, kinda wish you had done more newer songs with Jenny.

Love the music and it pains me to say it but the electronic influence coming through in the new stuff is so distracting. The samples, synths, distorted vocals etc… every band evolves and much respect for finding your new direction and vibe but I’m still stuck in metalcore whilst you’ve gone beyond in to a poor man’s enter shikari mating with muse kinda genre. But I’ll keep listening and hopefully it grows on me! 🙏🙏
