This new overwatch 2 video covers the play of the game themes and which one is the best, overwatch 2 all themes, overwatch 2 all the themes, overwatch 2 theme songs, overwatch 2 potg, overwatch 2 play of the game
These sound a lot cooler when I'm not watching a Widow miss 3 shots, hit two bodyshots and then kill one person.
Or when the person who gets potg dies and it's just like a torb or sym turret getting it

Your teammate widow who did absolutely nothing and you completely forgot she was in your team: Gets potg

@@AriCurOverwatchPlays One thing I do love about the beta theme is it sounds like heroic music with the background of villainous like music... I think since we can play good and bad guys make a neutral potg theme. Only issue with the beta theme is it had to much going on since it was music slapped on top of music.

It would be really cool if the beta version was used when the play of the game goes to a villain character and the new one when a heroic character gets it. Like, I can see a potg with Ramattra or Doomfist with the beta version, it fits like a glove.
now im wishing they did that!
It sounds like it would more suit who was part of the overwatch group lore wise like Winston or tracer cause there’s not that many characters for that if you look at it so it would be considered a good Easter egg
Or it could be that the original one plays when your teammate gets potg and the beta one plays when the enemy team gets potg

Same I would put the beta version for me personally but all of the themes do play but it depends on the game mode. I'm pretty sure junkenstein's revenge had the original theme and deathmatch in some instances played the beta theme. Idk why it does that but it's whatever I guess.
Oh my god, that build up on OW1 version was... Incredible. In the new one it just kinda... Starts.

Original has this constrast between a quiet intro, bombastic middle, and an ending that feels like "!!!..."
It make any character feel like a superhero.
The OW2 one has no build up or sound contrast. It's "epic", but interchangeable with any other Ambient fight music.
@@alexandredesouza3692 No. This video cut out the quiet intro buildup and played OW2's theme at lower quality and volume than the others. It has the buildup in-game. It doesn't just play the full blast Overwatch theme over the highlight intro.

But the sound variation still offers less contrast and is generally less interesting.
OW2 version is OK. Every version is good in its own way. OW1 is heroic, OW2 Beta is epic, OW2 Release is calm, like resting after battle.
original has the best buildup, beta has the best main part, current one just sucks lol

The beta version for Overwatch 2 sounds really good. Wish they just used that for the full game.

Yknow, I have came to the conclusion that the og was better than both ow 2 theme by a long shot.
Hate the Overwatch 2 one, sounds sooooo boring and less epic than original. But I do kinda wish we were able to choose our POTG music just from an assortment of different songs that they could provide us, and they could all be different themes or themes based around some of the characters, would really be cool and special.

How does it sound more energetic? The tempo is literally slower than ow1. It's like they took ow1 theme and halfed the amount of notes lmao
I agree with the hate part, but disagree with the "less epic" part. OW2 one is more epic, but that become it's problem, not straight to the point like OW1.

Ow1 POTG theme was ICONIC. It was used in memes and references throughout the years, they need to bring it back. Maybe make players choose the theme they want, or make it randomly chosen.

Can I just confirm that after a few glitches playing gun game no cd on the custom game list, the OW2 beta POTG theme is still in the files and can be played
Why did they remove the beta version, that version was a lot more lit imo than the current slow a$$ theme
the beta version is just better like tf. I remember listening to it for the first time, thinking how it was so much better than OW's. And then they switched it out for the current one. Blizzard keeps making L decisions. Taking out the LFG, then taking out being on fire. Then reinstating being on fire, and taking out the beta POTG music. L company.
Overwatch 1 POTG track was INCREDIBLE
It'd be cool if they had the option to toggle the other themes in the options for just fun nostalgia occasionally

OW1 just had so much character. It's timeless in it's menus, music, and style.
OW2 isn't bad, but it feels... off? Like you can tell it's a different team, or at least mostly. I wish I could still play OW1 :(

If there was ever an Overwatch movie, the Overwatch 1 theme would be the intro song and the Overwatch 2 beta theme would be the end credits theme
beta one sounds like something hans zimmer would compose for inception.
The original is the best in my opinion but the beta one was also fire. I remember having a long conversation with a friend about it when it when we played the beta.

Ok guys, so today we're doing a tier list on the overwatch POTG themes. Uh- so overwatch 1's theme is going at an A tier, its an iconic classic if i do say so myself, but it gets beat out by one other theme; and thats overwatch beta's theme which im putting at an S tier. The beta's theme sounds like you just defeated a greek god. Its so epic and grandiose that its on a league of its own. Now for F tier im going to put overwatch 2's theme- nah im just kidding. Jokes aside i'd put overwatch 2's theme in a C tier. Its not bad, it just feels like it is lacking something. While the main trumpet is louder, the background instruments are lower, which kinda gives the whole song less of an umph feeling, feeling more one dimensional compared to the others. But even then, it still features that iconic POTG main melody, so C tier it is.

Ye that’s what I’ve been saying. The older ones are better but saying the new one is terrible is too much hate.
I feel like the beta theme would have been good to use depending on the hero, or which team. So, for instance, a hero aligned with Talon or known for crime and violence could use the beta, or an enemy POTG could
all 3 are great (keep nostalgia out) but beta?? That was fire
I miss OW POTG and boot up music.

Dude i started playing in ow2 and ive grown up with that track. The ow1 track sound so much better. Although beta ow2 sounds the best

OW is a fast paced game. I think the OW1 theme is the best one. It has build up to the moment, quick beat and intense. While the OW2 theme is dragged for too long and doesn't fit being background music for a shooter at all.

OW 1 theme just hit different. Of course they had to downgrade it just like everything else in the game.

When OverWatch 2 released I was so confused because I really like the beta's potg theme.
I hate that companies will kill the original better form of a product we already bought, to sell us a shinier inferior product that will soon be replaced with another......you can guess the rest.

I have to say I liked the beta version a lot more since the current one feels way too slow. However I think the beta POTG's tone would've worked way better if it was an enemy's POTG theme. It would've been a more realistic fit considering the theme sounds a little more dreadful
