It's lovely to hear from a friend especially in this poignant period for me personally sadly because my mum passed away on Sunday September 17, three days before what would have been her 90th birthday.

Congratulations on the bump, I was nearly 40 before I had my daughter, she turns 16 next February 😮 both of mine would be quiet while I was active but the second I sat down they would start kicking ! I was put on lightwork at the scrapyard where I was working while carrying my first, not even allowed to get on the forklift😢 hope everything goes well with the birth and get as much rest afterwards as possible 😊

A Christmas baby possibly on the cards then, we had our best Christmas ever in 1995, no decorations or preparations but brought our second son home late on Christmas Eve night! As a lorry driver you should be used to getting a good swift kick now and again as it goes with the territory. Loved the line about there being more women lorry drivers now, when Mum was driving, from 1970's she was only one of two that we knew of in the Midlands, the other worked for Archers transport at Coleshill, they were the trailblazers but you have probably being more influential in getting more women drivers into the industry with your videos. I wish you both the very best of luck with the happy forthcoming event. Only note of caution is that lorry driving and family life are a difficult match, but a strong relationship will see you through as ours did. Together 40 years next year! Actually it was the same for Mum and Dad, still together, both lorry drivers (retired) raised 5 kids, now late 80's With love to you both. ❤❤

Congratulations. How about Casey for a name. After Casey Stoner. He is one of the fastest, most naturally gifted motorcycle rider I've even seen. Small point on Renault truck. Don't ever leave it in gear while parked. If it loses air pressure , you won't be able to start unit and would have to call Renault out. Stereo controls are all under steering wheel, so there is no need for the head unit. ❤

Congrats on the news, Sorry Hayley, I can give lots of tips, pointers, and tricks for reversing a trailer, but when it comes to pregnancy, child birth, and being a mother it is something I will never know!! great to hear life is working out for the better too. p.s. I am looking into getting my ADR some day soon probably next year though, as want to further my horizons as well, kind of something I have been putting off more and more, and then never getting around to doing, as was thinking of doing it before my class 1, but then seen the price of the class 1 lessons, especially when they made it compulsary to get class 2 licence first. and now regained my dcpc, then maybe should be the next thing on my bucket list.

The working canal boat guys a century or so ago used raise families on board, though because they always had to be travelling, they didn't go to church, and many thought low of them.
You're looking very well, dashcam looks another good product, enjoy the ""French ambience" ala Renault, never driven trucks, but had several french hire cars, and yes they are unique, but have excellent suspension systems. The automotive world owes a lot to France, developed on from Germany.

P.s how are you finding the Renault? I work for Renault trucks as a technician. I did my training in a daf like you drove on the steel…I much prefer driving the Renaults 👌

That's a good one. Things can change a lot when little ones come around. I remember taking my daughter to school on a motorbike but that was pretty frowned upon back in the 2000's encase she came off. Now I'm older with many people distracted by phones I don't think I'd risk a car possibly going into the back of us. One can get very safety conscious as one ages.

Hello! I´m a big fan from Estonia :D Not so long ago I got my CE license. I learned to drive with a drawbar trailer. I found a job and will be driving a semi soon. Wanted to ask You.. How much different is semi from drawbar trailer? Is it easy to get used to?
I once had a chance to do some manuvering with semi on a closed yard. But it was before i started to drive with drawbar, so i dont remember much. I´m bit nervous, that i might mess up.

Hi Hayley, im going back into driving again but im having to do my cpc full 35 hours, as mines expired, I have always done it while ive been in work, Luckily i am getting it payed for by the government to get back into work, but i am having to do it online, its all booked in for the end of the month, can you give me any advice as to what to expect and any low down on the 5 different modules, whats entailed in each and any way to prepare in advance, etc
