- In Philippians 4:13 the apostle Paul writes, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” And Jesus is, of course, all-powerful (Colossians 2:10). But does this verse mean that we can do anything and everything we set our minds to? The context of this verse focuses on the God-given power to endure any circumstance.

Im single and live alone with no family, I was laid off work 8 months ago and fell behind on rent and Bill's, had to sell furniture and alot of my belongings. I stayed faithful in the Lord, in prayer everyday at the brink of giving up. Although I lost material things and I ate boiled eggs and ramen everyday, God was with me every second.
Long story short, the Lord lined up specific things in order for me to keep gas, electricity, water and a roof over my head and today I am caught up on everything and God continues to bless me.
My Faith has been strengthened, my hard time was for Gods glory. When we get in hardships, stay with God!!! I promise he will never leave you nor forsake you!!
Oh! and I must say the job I have now is career based with many benefits and is much better than the dead end job I was laid off of. What we lose, God can and will give back bigger and better!!! Bless you ALL!!

I had money, been middle class, and poor. I was the happiest poor. You realize what's really important. Now I'm married and middle class again and very content. Focus on God not people or things.

Ray the guy that owns the shop was late so I sat out in the Texas heat waiting for him. Next door is a cake shop. A lady from the cake shop saw me waiting in the heat and came out and told me I could wait in the shop in the ac. I took her kind offer. I walked in and she offered me cold water. I looked at what she had for sale and commented on the red velvet cup cake. I told her I don't carry my wallet when I ride my bike. I then sat down at a table and drank the water she gave me. A few minutes later while looking outside a Red Velvet cup cake was put in front of me and she said it's on the house. I was so overwhelmed by her kindness that I almost cried. Philippians 4:11-13 is a good one to remember during cashless society. Because once we refuse the mark, hunger sets in. This will make sense if you know you will be here during tribulation as there is no pre-trib. Jesus could choose to provide manna tho. I always love Amplified Bible because it seems like a great translation, helps me understand the Bible. I read it parallel with ISV and KJV.

Through any situation God can use you to do something. He is still the God of the impossible. Even though the storm is raging and can destroy you completely and break you down, Jesus is with you always. He will use your situation for His glory and lift you to heights you never believed were possible. In my life at just 15 I gained the one thing from God which gave me joy beyond explanation. It was ripped away from me, but in that brokenness the spirit of God spoke to me that He brought it to me and will bring the dead back to life. He will deliver you, need only to trust Him. Go to God in brokenness and pain and He will lead you, commit yourself to God and believe Him, in His perfect timing you will be delivered. Trust God. Look to any story in the Bible and you will find a hope for what you are going through. Jesus said come forth to Lazarus and he rose from the dead, Jesus stood up and said be still and the waves and wind died. Knowing these things don’t even dare to worry about your future and what might happen. Just Trust God He means Good for your Life. God did the impossible for me and brought a dead relationship after so much time back to life and God worked in me to glorify His name at the same time through the Holy Spirit. Trust God for He will never forsake you. In His timing He will deliver you. If you see this then just Trust God. He will deliver you. Just Believe. Even when I was discouraged to a point of questioning my battle, remember God gets things to a place of impossibility, God allows it to get so hopeless to the natural eye, but just remember that God is faithful and the same God that created the universe and woke you up this morning is fighting for you. Just trust Him, your miracle is almost here, keep going. Keep Believing because God will not fail you.

I have recently heard about Jewish Ketubah. A father and a son would knock on the door of the future bride and they will come in and have a supper together. The bridegroom would present himself and what he can provide for the bride and also what the bride needs to change and learn to line up with the bridegroom.

Thank you for sharing this word I know it might not be recent but this is one I've come across it. I have had a hard life and I tried my best to be content with it by doing sinful things because I thought God didn't love me enough if he let me go through such things but it's always been chaos and some many mistakes and each time I tried to do something it would never work. It now am starting to realize that all I needed and need was God to feel content and whole... No matter what life throws at me with him by my side I will make it through ❤️

One day my husband told me to put suitcases FULL of CSs in the attic (up a horrid ladder). I repeated this verse up every step of stairs dragging a dead 100lbs behind me and up the horrid ladder. Husband hoped I couldn't do it. He wanted me to fail. While I think it helped me physically, it surely kept me from losing my mind on the husband.

I had some hard times i never gave up because no matter what happens in my life God will never leave me nor forsake me. God tells me everyday to trust him with all my heart mind soul body and spirit and not to lean not my own understanding in all my ways submit to him and he will make my path straight.i spending time with God every day studying and reading his words and promises and i cant live with him i need God every moment and second of my life.
