Patrick Okoth no but I don’t understand how the Cavs automatically should’ve won when the only game they had kyrie they lost, and especially a team with only 1 20 ppg scorer being curry with 27 and everyone else had 15 and under
Iverson, pound for pound, is maybe the most skilled NBA player of all time. But he lacks accolades outside of his MVP and scoring titles. Some of it due to lack of help, but teams he was on actively tried to get him help, but he was unwilling to develop his game to make the team run more efficiently. He skipped practices and such, he did not take the responsibility of being a star player on a winning team.
Jerry West's 1-8 record in the Finals has context to it. No one was beating Bill Russell's stacked Celtics. Plus Jerry West was a great playoff performer. He has the most games with at least 20 points in the finals, games with at least 30 points in the finals, and games with at least 40 points in the finals.
West’s Lakers had Russell’s Celtics beaten in 1962 and 1969, and blew it both times. West would be top 5 All Time if he had won 3 titles instead of only 1. Same with Chamberlain. His teams were superior to Russell’s in 68 and 69. Somehow, Wilt found a way to lose both years. If Wilt had won just 2 more titles, he’s top 5 All time, and arguably right alongside MJ as the GOAT.
@@frederickrapp5396 In both finals he only played bad in 1 game. He also had great games in both of those finals. Game 2 in 1962 he had probably one of (if not the) most efficient 40 point game of all-time (13/23 from the field and 14/15 on free throws). In the 1969 Finals he had a 53 point double double, a 42 point triple double, and 2 other 40 point games (all of which shooting close to 50% from the field).

REMEMBERS YOU ARE VOTED FOR FINALS MVP, HE LED IN SCORING BUT WHO LED IN REBOUNDING,NO REBOUNDS NO POINTS,WHO ALWAYS DEFENDED THE BEST PLAYED ON THE OTHER TEAM,DON'T STOP SCORING NO WINS.
For anybody that does not know about Wes Unseld/Phil Chanier/ Elvin Hayes. They played for the Baltimore Bullets and Washington Bullets in the 70s. That's where the Wizards originate from, they moved from Baltimore to Washington, DC in 1974.
Thank you! Hakeem was an all around player. He could defend, shoot from anywhere on the court, assist and actually had better handles. Hakeem over Shaq all day.
Wilt Chamberlain: 100 points in a game. Averaged 50ppg/25rpg in a season. Most games over 90. Most games over 80. Most games over 70. Most games over 60. Led league in scoring. Led league in Rebounding. Led League in Blocked Shots. Led league in Assists. Led league in total minutes played. NEVER Fouled Out of a game. Blocked Jabbar's sky-hook Multiple times. Jerry West’s 1-8 record is because he came up against the unbeatable stars of Boston. No one could beat them during that time. Look beyond the record and numbers and understand the era of the game. West = The Logo is easily in the top 10
Micheal, Kareem, Magic, Bill Russell, Bird thats the top 5. Anybody saying that Lebron is missing need to see if he has more chips than Robert Horry before we can have this conversation

He is saying he wasnt flashy like a superstar normally is, Tim is called the big Fundamental, he was a Superstar but always like lowkey. Thats what he meant
Kobe Bryant holds the record for the most missed shots in NBA history (by a wide margin of 1000 shots). Therefore his FG% is abysmal at 44%. He also holds 25 out of top 100 spots for most missed FG in a game. Couple this with the fact that his assist ratio is one of the lowest for a Shooting Guard means that Kobeis the definition of a Ball Hogg who just throws it up with poor efficiency. Kobe is VERY OVERRATED especially with the younger crowd who don't bother to study. Even Iverson's numbers are equal to or better than Kobe's. Several Shooting Guards with better numbers than Kobe (see Oscar Robinson).
Wilt was LeBron in the 60s (not by their playstyle) but he was the best player, facing the most stacked team in that era. I have wilt in my top 5 all time.
I mean, I personally don’t think that we should rate someone like Tim Duncan above WILT CHAMBERLAIN. The man actually averaged 50 points a season and is only 11th
@@misterpineapple_8305 I agree about Tim Duncan. I love Duncan but he was too high on the list. Duncan was only better than Garnett after 35. Duncan aged better than Garnett. Also, David Robinson choked in big moments so he doesn't belong on the list. By the time Robinson won his first title he was the second best player on his team. It'd be like putting harden or giannis on this list even if they keep choking. I don't mind having Bird and Magic over older players like Wilt and Bill Russell because they are better. Skill wise, Bill Russell is, at best, about the same as Ben Wallace or Dennis Rodman. And Wilt is a poor man's version of Shaq. Wilt's numbers are a product of his era. Steph Curry could average 75 points a game, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds a game if he played back then. And he could average those 70 points on an excellent field goal percentage. The level of competition is nowhere near what it has become. Elgin Baylor averaged 18 rebounds a game at 6-5. Bill Russell was the tallest player after mikan retired and before Wilt was drafted and bill Russell was 6-9.
The rules were way different back then, I don’t think wilt would’ve done well in this generation, if you look at old wilt clips he charges people down, swings elbows etc. He was freakishly athletic but the game of today lies behind the 3pt line so I wouldn’t have him in my top five.
No 🎓. These are both guys who are all time greats. They are just underrated by the younger generation because of so much current day influence and names they have only heard about.
@@hadrianfaber2738 wilt is better than bill russell tho soooo....... There is still room. Plus olajuwon won mvp, finals mvp, defensive player of the year, and made an all star team in the same year.

Wilt Chamberlain is criminally underrated on this list , wtf
Yup. Wilt is very disrespected on much of these lists.
Wilt was 1 or 2. Now with Lebron Wilt is 1, 2 or 3.

Julius erving dropped some rankings because his prime was in the aba but you talked about kareems college seasons tho
Kareem DOMINATED the collegiate ranks!! Then dominated the NBA.
Dr. J. was a Street Ball Legend. He was an amazing player in the ABA! He was an amazing NBA player.
Kareem was more accomplished and dominated for much longer.
If ABA doesn't count then college shouldn't count either.
@psc_ justicek I agree with where he has Erving. I actually agree with a lot of the list. I just thought that his logic was a little inconsistent in this instance.
"He's an all-time great, and one of the best players of all time." :)
