I know some were having issues that Barcode was too young for the role especially being paired with someone who is actually 10 years older than him but I think he has brought realism to the awkward teenager that someone older would have to act out whereas he is actually living it currently so its more believable. I am really loving how the entire behind the scene team (production, screenwriter etc) have made the story their own without taking away the main plots of the novel and weaving some narrative that make more sense in a series. Not making Vegas have an extended period of torturing Pete and showing some level of concern in the series is a good example of to taking a particularly troubling subject matter and making it better. I'm not saying what Vegas did in this episode to Pete was good but by limiting the days and scenes allowed us not to despise him as much as the novel cause he was horrible. I always felt like Vegas was physically and mentally abused by his dad and the constant berating from Gun about him not being enough and even saying Macau also was a waste confirms that he was a shit father. Vegas isn't a complete degenerate we have seen the few times he is with Macau that he dotes on him, hangs with and is concerned/probably shelters him from the abuse of their father. I would love some kind of redemption arc for him and get the boy some kind of therapy before going full into any kind of relations with Pete.
I completely agree with you. I think they are showing how broken Vegas is and being the one that the father focuses on allows Macau to have a possibility better life.

In the series, Kim and Porchay do not have much of an age difference. Kim is 21-22 and Porchay is 18. He's about to enter college (thats why he attended the open house where they first met)... Its not that big of an age difference. I don't believe their age difference of 3-4 years is an issue to Kim. As far as I have seen, Kim is very good at compartmentalizing his thoughts and feelings. He is not easily swayed by his own emotions and he is always able to see a bigger picture...often times a step ahead with all his snooping and detective work. To me it felt like Kim knows what he is feeling for Chay. Cuz for a man born and raised in the mafia world, Chay's innocence and bright love is something he never saw or experienced before...it definitely pulled him in & was a breath of fresh air in Kim's lonely world. But he's compartmentalizing those feelings and locking it away from the rest of his goals unlike Kinn who thinks with his d*ck. Cuz every time he approached Chay for a purpose, he always ended up staying for Chay and found himself getting sidetracked which if he let it grow cud essentially end up being his weakness and weakness in their world can mean potential downfall or death.....( I mean at this point Chay is already a weakness for Kim...) It cud also be a mix of guilt from his own actions and wariness from not knowing where his findings about their parents will lead him to. I'm pretty sure Kim suspected his father had a hand in Chay's parents case...he's too smart to not have thought abt it.. But the confirmation of something that we hoped wud not be true will still be shocking to us. KimChay relationship even though was the softest and fluffiest among the three couples, theirs was the one with the most distance and obstacles between them purely because unlike the other two couples, Kim and Chay belong to two entirely different worlds and their personalities and characters have a stark contrast of darkness and brightness. I'm so excited to see how Kimchay will now develop....really wanna see Kim's side. We see only little of Kim that I always want more. Chay crying really makes you wanna kick Kim...

As you mentioned, every time he met with Porchay he always had an objective: to learn more about Porsche and their family in order to find out more details about the case. However, Kim is not exempt from having strong feels towards Porchay, which he realizes the more he spends time with Chay. Notice that every time Porchay brings up the conversation of "love" and what their relationship is like, Kim always avoids the topic entirely. He thinks about all of his words and actions with the utmost detail and care which is likely why he has never outright rejected Porchay by telling him "no." Instead, he just changes the subject and refuses to answer. My guess as to why he decided to "reject" Porchay in this episode is because he realizes that he is in too deep. He never anticipated having feelings for Porchay so him risking his own life by protecting Porchay in the warehouse in ep10 was completely unheard of. This likely unnerved Kim since it is a demonstration of one of his weaknesses, something that he cannot afford to have. I'm super excited to see how their relationship unfolds in the next couple of episodes (PLEASE WE NEED MORE KIMCHAY!!) and hopefully in a second season as well! Barcode and Jeff have brought so much depth and authenticity to Chay and Kim and all of their scenes are so beautiful that I find myself repeating each episode just for them lol.
I like that you guys are one of the few that enjoy the VegasPete scenes and understand the background of why Vegas is the way he is. VegasPete is my favorite couple and I appreciate that you don't attack their history 🤍

well from what i remember in the novel Kinn's father was not the one who killed Porsche's parents but we don't know how they will change it in the series.
am glad that Kim finally knows the truth and I wonder what he will do with the information Vegas actually cares about Vegas and honestly I think he likes having someone to talk to who isn't judging him, doesn't expect anything from him and asks if he's okay and takes time to know the real him and be able to get close I knew Chay would find out this episode and that he would feel hurt and lied to because honestly Kim did use him to get to Porsche in terms of seeing why his dad specifically picked Porsche to help the family. I'm glad we still got to see KimmPorsche and Chay with the bodyguards and Tankhun it was sweet and funny Seeing the bodyguard and the family he may about Porsche and Kinn but still he supportive is cute I do think Pete can handle and take what Vegas does to him because he's probably felt pain that was worse and it was mentally or emotionally which goes way deeper than physical The fact that Porsche said I love you first in an earlier episode and now Kinn finally says it ( it was a beautiful moment Tankhun style is immaculate

Episode 39 of The Untamed 😱😱😭😱😱🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Why did we have to go back there? Whenever I get reminded of The Untamed I just wanna watch it all over for the millionth time... I feel like Mr Korn is the end game and most situations that are happening are all in his chess game and he's not really the one who is the enemy but a protector who's mysterious and I sort of feel like Porsche's parents were either part of the gang, business partners or family friends 😂but you know plot twists always make things in another angle

Vegas actually cares about Vegas and honestly I think he likes having someone to talk to who isn't judging him, doesn't expect anything from him and asks if he's okay and takes time to know the real him and be able to get close
I knew Chay would find out this episode and that he would feel hurt and lied to because honestly Kim did use him to get to Porsche in terms of seeing why his dad specifically picked Porsche to help the family.
I'm glad we still got to see KimmPorsche and Chay with the bodyguards and Tankhun it was sweet and funny
Seeing the bodyguard and the family he may about Porsche and Kinn but still he supportive is cute
I do think Pete can handle and take what Vegas does to him because he's probably felt pain that was worse and it was mentally or emotionally which goes way deeper than physical
The fact that Porsche said I love you first in an earlier episode and now Kinn finally says it ( it was a beautiful moment
