@@jayjunior2023 i think we're there with AI technology, and you won't need this gimmicky piece of technology. I think that chatgpt voice can do this right now with airpods.
Interesting! Would love to see these in action down here in Huelva where they speak "Andaluz" (very fast, missing out word endings and 's's). It's the "Geordie" of Spain! Even people from Madrid can't understand the locals speaking.
Being a retired teacher of castellano in the states, I am not yet able to accept more technology which removes the personal interaction between two people attempting to communicate with each other. As far as I know, there is only a fraction of a sec in time delay on those buds. That’s the beauty of this product, which is better than similar apple and amazon buds.
Not your fault, but I ordered my Timekettle earbuds and so looked forward to their arrival. When they arrived, looking very cool in their packaging, sadly one of the earbuds would not charge. Believe me, I tried everything to solve the issue but, alas it was not meant to be. I confess I was disappointed as I had looked forward to obtaining a little bit of assistance in understanding the natives. Oh well, such is life, así es la vida. I now have to consider if I reorder or accept that a greater power is trying to tell me something like "save your money, study more, listen to more Spanish speakers, there are no shortcuts" The world still needs Spanish teachers, let's face it, for us adult learners the Spanish teacher is more than an educator, I consider mine a friend. In fact, mine is an online teacher and we meet face-to-face this weekend for the first time, hence my timely purchase of the Timekettle😉 😂 There is a lesson here. 🤣
Very handy! ( But should be called " babble fish" as in hitchhikers guid comedy😀) my spanish is very poor and this will help. I recently commented to a lady that her dog had beautiful eyes.....only to find i had said " eggs'" not eyes!😨. Fortunately we sorted it out and both had a good laugh! ( Thank goodness).
Looks interesting but each time you want to have conversation with someone they need to put a bud in their ear, that would be a hassle and not to mention hygiene!
I am one of the users of Timekettle WT2 Edge, and I must say it is a fantastic piece of technology that you wished invented earlier, and it helps in many scenarios. It has multiple modes of operation. As you mentioned, the hygiene part of it is not an issue as it supports speaker mode. That means the owner of WT2 wears the earpiece, and your dialogue partner speaks via your mobile mic. The WT2 is my EDC nowadays. Very handy. It also supports offline mode when you don't have data connections.
I guess it's like listening to sub titles and you were quite slow and clear in your speech. Don't know if it'd be as good with a fast idiomatic type of speech. Impressive, though.
Seems to be a great product. A couple of queries: (1) are these languages already uploaded in the cloud? (2) must I pay for every desired language I upload? (3) is there a yearly subscription fee to continuously maintain each language?
Very clever indeed, really interesting technology - many thanks for the introduction. Could be very useful for non-Spanish speaker at the odd visit to public buildings, for example, hospitals or maybe where documents in Spanish need to be understood whilst dialog is in progress - like in house buying or visa process with legal bods but maybe not actually at the ayuntamiento itself. Somewhere where simple answers to questions would suffice, sort of point to where it hurts and “sI, no” to questions in Spanish afterwards with the translation. Trouble is in dual mode, how do you keep them sterile when shared between multiple people with whom you may need to interact? Are they also gonna get into the market for ear infection pills and really make some money? 😁 I think they would be useful in dual mode, for example as the wife and I try to improve our Spanish. One speaking in English and the other hearing in Spanish pretty much all the time would really help get immersed in the language in my opinion without the need for a Spanish speaker on hand. I’d also be interested to see them perform when Spanish is spoken with words all slurred together at the normal Mach 2 rate. But overall, yes I can see a use for them in my life. Thanks again for bringing them to my attention.
Hello friend, thank you so much for your attention and in-depth thinking! Keeping the earbud clean and hygienic is quite important. We provide the replaceable transparent cover for the earbud. We hope the product would be useful for you. ❤

@@anonymouse1309 Hello friend, our translator earbuds also need to download the app on the mobile phone, and we do recommend you use it with the internet as the online version works better in terms of accuracy and speed.
