I noticed what is different is the maximum height in WWE 2k23 for men and women is 7 feet tall. However, my female creations Sesame Street blonde gymnast Deborah Eich-Romer, Anne Frank, and Little Giants cheerleader Rebecca O'Shea all made comebacks.
Yeah, I'm disappointed in that too, hopefully that's their next step in 2K24 and later. But at least they let you configure your weight which you couldn't in 2K22. Hopefully that window of customization isn't too narrow. Back in 2K19 you could make Cruiserweights in bodies fit for Super Heavyweights.

They really just need to do the Creation Suite from ground up because there is no reason for tattoos that been there since the original SVR and not any new ones
I would honestly like it if images could wrap all the way around a body part instead of leaving gaps and see thru spaces so u have to put multiple layers on top of each other and overlapping to complete a look
I see all the slight improvements but a big issue i have with the creation suite is the delay when it comes to the items you hover on. You wait 1-3 seconds for each item load and that seems pretty inconvenient when you're going around and seeing what looks good at what doesn't.

@Maki so much this. I mean it's fun as I usually add some new looks to my long running CAWs each year but still, yeah it would be nice to import my CAW from last game and tweak that than make him or her all over again from scratch.
It's gonna be a fun year when people start making caws and upload them onto community creations, with much more realism, can't wait to see what they make. Hopefully we get to see 2k add in some new hairstyles and beards in the game, when patches start to drop eventually.
They really should rebuild the CAW suite from scratch again. Have more design options, have more range for the body types so almost every body shape looks unique, stop having restrictions in place and have EVERY SINGLE OPTION be available for both men and women, maybe rebuild it so it's like Day Of Reckoning where I can a put an item of clothing or accessory wherever I want on the body (For example, if I wanted to put headgear on the waist like it's dangling from a belt, I should be able to do that, make it how big or small I want and if I want to rotate on its axis or not). That's what the CAW suite should be about. Having fun and mixing and matching. All these restrictions in place just makes things less enjoyable, at least for me. Hell, the only thing I get excited for the creation suite nowadays is what movie or thing the game references plus the occasional awesome-looking item of clothing. I marked out for the Doge dog mask though.
DOR's gear system was awesome. It was crazy versatile. The only series that still has that, that I know of at least, is Soul Calibur. But at least we should be able to morph the body as we like. Even if there's a bit of clipping, I'd prefer that than restrictions tbh.
Face textures look great.. finally. But im very disappointed they didn't really add anything new at all. Still the same things we've had for like the past 10 games. You think they'd focus a lot of attention on creation suite when that's one of the most popular modes.

This new Create A Superstar feature, it's very similar to the old one. I'd go one step further than that and say that it's more or less exactly the same...except...no it's exactly the same. Actually there does look to be a few minor upgrades and some new stuff but not as much as one might have hoped for. Still, at least we should all be able to rebuild our favourite CAWs and CASs from previous games fairly easily. It'd be nice if they brought back the ability to adjust the length and width of limbs and that sort of thing that we used to have years ago instead of the presets being the only real options.
I think the worst thing they ever did to the creation suite was make some attire entrance exclusive. It's probably a developer thing to avoid bugs and issues but they still wear the stuff during entrance attacks so it's clearly possible
There's a way around that...sort of. But, I can't speak for 2k23. In 2k22, I wasn't about to do what I did in 2k19 with the group image tool. I was able to put so, much detail in my caws that they stood out. 2k22 has a glitch that doesn't allow me to reuse/reedit custom, group images which, allowed me to create highly, detailed body textures and outfits in 2K19. The positive I see is the skin texture as they're doing their best to make CAWS look like the superstars. Still they need to texturize the hair cause I only seen one that looked nice. Hair that's been in the game for years on end still look the same so have to work on that and please hire a tattoo artist or something to help with creating tattoos. The generic clothes still look the same which isn't good. That's why they shouldn't do yearly releases and do every other year or something so they can iron out things like this and make them better.
Where are the 100 new hairstyles 2K said they were adding this year? I saw maybe one or two. What does 2K have against adding new hairstyles considering it's probably the biggest omission we face every year? They should at least add in ALL of the current roster's hair for CAS and add onto that every year. They lied about adding a bunch of new hairstyles which isn't surprising to me.
Yeah thats gonna to be handy as hell. I hated creating wrestlers who were big brutes like Braun and keep seeing them go to the top rope to dive or the seeing the AI use submissions all the time to end matches despite the wrestler not being a sumission guy. Hated losing a match to the likes of Balor using a armbar
I see huge improvements with creating a superstar in wwe2k23 with lots of different creation types, including the textures, additional features, face models, templates etc. I'm really looking forward to creating a superstar in wwe2k23. The caws will look much more realistic than before.
Good things I see so far as I’m watching and commenting at the same time . The height and weight is changeable individually unlike last year and it looks like they’re adding wwe superstar hairstyles as well as the generic ones . So that’s cool

It’s really good having such a deep character customisation in a game, I only really started to play 2k22 last year because I was bored. WWE isn’t something I’m into anymore, I’m more of an OG WWE fan but I’m loving the games despite not having much knowledge about some of the wrestlers these days. I’m going to enjoy this game when it releases. Great video!
I love what they are doing but when can we get more room for more CAW slots. We been having 100 spots 1,000 images for last 10-15 years? Again loving the improvements they finally are making after ao many years of same game.
I mainly play by customizing my own characters and using them. I hardly touch GM or MyFaction, so even though its visually better, there is hardly anything new added. I'd rather stick to the old game for caw. I'm sure they focused more on the game modes rather than caw. I wish theyd add more tattoos, make the logos in order by superstar, and freshen up the clothing more. I dont want to change format yet keep the same outcome. what are they going to do next year? same clothes and even better graphics? I hope they plan on releasing more and they just put in the old clothes for ease
Yea they really need to re do the Creation Suite mainly the CAW section from the ground up. You can tell the woman section really gets the short end of the stick. It's more obvious that they stuck women in here since 2015 and haven't gone back to it. Also the ability to just get more options for regular clothes again mainly for women. I see Charlotte more times on TV in heels in regular clothes than in wrestling gear. What about backstage segments attires? Just suppose to be in wrestling gear 24/7. The sims should be inspiration to the new redesigned caw section along with no mercy and the show and cyberpunk 2077. Also need to redo size weight and height
Im still frustrated when i see the Hair and Beards....there is still a HUGE Difference between Beard and Hairstyle Textures who are in the game since YEARS...the old ones still looking soooo bad and undetailed compared to the new ones who look awesome! I wish the would've overhauled them...

I'm at least glad everything is still there from previous years. My biggest worry is they'll do some revamp that removes all previous pieces meaning I can't make my CAWs anymore the way I like to.
You still can't select the body parts individually from what I see. It's something I never understood, supposedly 2K removed the separate body parts to avoid Clipping between the clothes and the body, BUT IRONICALLY, I've seen a lot more clipping in 2K22 than in previous games like 2K19 and 2K18, so what's the point?
I wished they would fix the WWE Images so there is an order to them instead of just a random listing. It’s frustrating every year when you try to find a specific wrestlers image and you have to go through the entire list because some are at the top, middle, and bottom. Maybe place them in alphabetical order by wrestler?
A feature I would love to see more than anything is the ability to copy a superstar or moveset from a creation in 2k22 to 2k23! I probably would only move a few superstars but after spending hours creating the superstars, their entrance, and then the moveset, this would definitely be a nice addition since the creation suite does not appear to be that different. Even if the character was a little wonky needed some tweaks, still would be better that creating again from scratch! Maybe an import feature when you first load the game the first time like Rockstar did for its GTA online did with its game. 2k games, if you are reading this, just an idea… maybe for the future.
Im so glad they left last years default face template in the game. I use this on my main guy so I was waiting with anticipation on it turning up in the list there, of course they put it as the last one to torture me xD

@@dhenderson1810 I'm noticing none of the save files on PS4 for WWE games is going over 996MB. Be it PlayStation or XBOX (I don't know which), but it looks like something is limiting these games to a 1GB saved data file data size. Maybe we've never gotten 200 CAW slots because something is blocking 2K from expanding the saved data file up to 2GB. If my guess is right that they are only allowed a 1GB save file, andsaid save file is already tapped out. Then "just doubling what they did before" isn't as easy as you make it sound.
Big improvement with caw models and I see a little additional attires added in. Wishing for 4 slots for attires. Allot of copy and paste but worth it to see familiar items return. Hopefully the logo cap has increased so that when you download a caw with multiple logos the digital or disc game allows all the logos to be used. With the texture additions the caws look a little more like in game wrestlers, with the textures, community creators wont have to use to many body part logos other than tattoos, Hopefully. Impressive changes in my opinion.
I really hate the face options because the create a moveset guy's face should always be there. I always used it as my CAWS face no matter how generic it looks.
Did they add any new hair for male and female including new superstar hairstyles? What are the tabs when you press RT, aside from 'Generic'? I see that height and weight can be set separately which is good, but it looks like we're still restricted when it comes to body types. I wonder how the face scans will affect the new skin textures this year. Hopefully it doesn't erase all the detail when we overlay them onto the model.
I saw 5 or 6 new ones. But SmackTalks just blew past it really fast. So I had to slow the video down to get glimpses of it. They look good, but I need a more detailed video of it
the creation suite need more content it been lacking for a min they need more masks and makeup more hair and outfits etc and need more animations for your walkout and wins more music and more logo
They removed so many great gameplay aspects from 2k19 . I actually find myself more excited to just play that. Steel step physics and omg moments are a huge downside of 2k's new direction
The creation suite as a whole looks good, but the face templates suck in my opinion. Why add so many new options but get rid of all of the old ones? Also, in my opinion most of the new ones aren’t even good.
Default caws will look great and hope the face textures carry over in quality. Just gutted theres no new Penta esq mask. Been waiting in that one a while. Oh well. Neck headphones it is haha

Still no advanced body customization like chest type, abdomen type, etc like we had in 2K19, they need to add that back as it makes each CAW unique

Right Stick changes mapping, so it can do that already.
You can already do that; make a wrap around design in Photoshop, plus press R3.

I'd be very surprised if the CAW's look like this on PS4/XB1. Feels like a next gen exclusive upgrade.

It's something I never understood, supposedly 2K removed the separate body parts to avoid Clipping between the clothes and the body, BUT IRONICALLY, I've seen a lot more clipping in 2K22 than in previous games like 2K19 and 2K18, so what's the point?
For Real, We need something like the older games or the SVR games

I wished they would fix the WWE Images so there is an order to them instead of just a random listing. It’s frustrating every year when you try to find a specific wrestlers image and you have to go through the entire list because some are at the top, middle, and bottom. Maybe place them in alphabetical order by wrestler?
They still have hairstyles from wwe 2k15 16 and 17 mix with 22 and 23
A feature I would love to see more than anything is the ability to copy a superstar or moveset from a creation in 2k22 to 2k23! I probably would only move a few superstars but after spending hours creating the superstars, their entrance, and then the moveset, this would definitely be a nice addition since the creation suite does not appear to be that different. Even if the character was a little wonky needed some tweaks, still would be better that creating again from scratch! Maybe an import feature when you first load the game the first time like Rockstar did for its GTA online did with its game. 2k games, if you are reading this, just an idea… maybe for the future.

Im so glad they left last years default face template in the game. I use this on my main guy so I was waiting with anticipation on it turning up in the list there, of course they put it as the last one to torture me xD

All they have to do is do whatever they do to create 100 slots, and then double it.

@@dhenderson1810 I'm noticing none of the save files on PS4 for WWE games is going over 996MB. Be it PlayStation or XBOX (I don't know which), but it looks like something is limiting these games to a 1GB saved data file data size.
Maybe we've never gotten 200 CAW slots because something is blocking 2K from expanding the saved data file up to 2GB.
If my guess is right that they are only allowed a 1GB save file, andsaid save file is already tapped out. Then "just doubling what they did before" isn't as easy as you make it sound.
The fact that tattoos haven't changed for like a decade.. Oh well

Ah good, the Gorilla mask is still in the game which means AGW (All Gorilla Wrestling) can live on.
Big improvement with caw models and I see a little additional attires added in. Wishing for 4 slots for attires. Allot of copy and paste but worth it to see familiar items return. Hopefully the logo cap has increased so that when you download a caw with multiple logos the digital or disc game allows all the logos to be used. With the texture additions the caws look a little more like in game wrestlers, with the textures, community creators wont have to use to many body part logos other than tattoos, Hopefully. Impressive changes in my opinion.
I really hate the face options because the create a moveset guy's face should always be there. I always used it as my CAWS face no matter how generic it looks.

Did they add any new hair for male and female including new superstar hairstyles? What are the tabs when you press RT, aside from 'Generic'? I see that height and weight can be set separately which is good, but it looks like we're still restricted when it comes to body types. I wonder how the face scans will affect the new skin textures this year. Hopefully it doesn't erase all the detail when we overlay them onto the model.
I saw 5 or 6 new ones. But SmackTalks just blew past it really fast. So I had to slow the video down to get glimpses of it. They look good, but I need a more detailed video of it

the creation suite need more content it been lacking for a min they need more masks and makeup more hair and outfits etc and need more animations for your walkout and wins more music and more logo

Why 2k remove the shape customization like 2K19, this choose body type still boring.
They removed so many great gameplay aspects from 2k19 . I actually find myself more excited to just play that. Steel step physics and omg moments are a huge downside of 2k's new direction

The creation suite as a whole looks good, but the face templates suck in my opinion. Why add so many new options but get rid of all of the old ones? Also, in my opinion most of the new ones aren’t even good.
