If you see this I have to ask, did you say anything to the person you purchased her from or report them so it makes it harder for them to be able to buy from a pet store or adopt from an agency!? @Wesley Bodine they're honestly sweet creatures (only if you treat them right). If you hate eating after watching creatures like this, then don't eat. Like, literally simple as that. I have no comment on that. I only had huskies and cats. What are you doing to the poor doggo?
@Wesley Bodine chile... This youtuber/influencer is doing everything in her time management to take care of this poor thing. This youtuber/influencer made a video regarding all iguanas are bad to have as pets. But, in this specific video, you can tell that she's doing everything to help the female iguana, that has been mistreated. Etc.
I've worked for the same veterinarian for 13 years and it still shocks me the way some people can just ignore the pain and suffering of animals. Thank you for all you do!
There's nothing that irks me more than when people get pets that they have absolutely no knowledge about. If you don't know how to care for it, or you can't afford it.. DON'T GET IT. I just forked out $180 for my dog because he has an ear infection and people thought I was crazy for spending the money. I always say, if you can't afford a child, don't get a pet either!
I spend 1000$ on surgery on my iguana or he would have been put down. Everyone thought i was crazy. This was over 10 years ago and he is almost 23 years old today. Best money ive ever spend.
I spent over 30k on my 11 year old Staffy when her back legs became paralysed and we didn’t know what was wrong with her. We did MRI, CT Scans, X-rays, numerous spinal taps and 10 days at the emergency vet we finally found out she had a tumor in her spinal cord which was pushing on a nerves causing paralysis. 17 rounds of chemo, weekly hydrotherapy sessions and two years later - she’s still alive and living her best life!! A lot of people (vets included) suggested euthanasia due to her age but I didn’t give up. I’m so glad and I’m so grateful for every day she’s with us! ❤️ Pets are for life.
@@ahhkeewaz and that's on being an amazing pet parent! 🙌 Animals deserve the best care, too. And if people can't afford it or don't want to put in the money, then they shouldn't get a pet.

@@KristenLeanneVlog yea I bet, I work at my college with about 50 different species of Herps and our Green Iguana is sassy, but so sweet. She's about 4ft long lol.
I love how you rescued her. On my birthday, a couple of months ago, I wanted to get a lizard. My mom really wanted me to get an iguana just because she said they didn’t need insects but rather fruit. I didn’t want to because they take so much care and need a lot of space. I ended up getting two green anoles and now she’s obsessed with them. I hope people understand iguanas are not the best pets, they’re very high maintenance and can be very aggressive. 🦎🦎
Love Anoles! I remember having them as a kid! My most fond memory was when one STARFISH jumped onto my face, dead center then crawled into my hair lol!
I am so happy there are people like you that take the time and money to nurse iguanas back to health. I am just amazed and say thank you to you for your kindness towards this precious iguana. So way cool!
Buying an animal on Craiglist IS a rescue as long as it isn't from a breeder or something! So she is still a rescue since you purchased an animal being rehomed and not from someone breeding iguanas. Glad to see she is thriving!

What an amazing transformation from the first video! She's lucky to have found you! She's beautiful and you can tell she loves the pets when she closes her eyes ^-^
What an amazing difference in her. I got partucularly upset in the initial video when you were holding her in a towel whilst you were sitting on the edge of the bath. She was looking up at you and opening and closing her mouth. I know it wasn't, but to me it was a cry for help. Thank you for saving her.
You are an angel for rescuing her and giving her so much love and the best possible life she can have while in captivity. She seems like she's really laid back, and I saw those eyes close when you were gently rubbing her little head. Wishing you so much luck for her to stay healthy and thank God those freakin' mites are gone!!! My heart goes out to her
Just came across your video and loved how you rescued this poor baby. Sailer looks great now considering how horribly neglected when you rescued her. I can tell you certainly care for these wonderful creatures. So glad I found your channel and will be looking forward to watching all your videos😍
