Partido-Alto 3 for Caixa em Cima

Here is another variation of the partido-alto that can be played on the caixa (Brazilian snare drum) in the Bateria. This one is a fusion of partido-alto and the “batida reta” or “straight ahead beat.” Like "Partido-Alto 1" and "Partido-Alto 2,” this pattern is also typically played “em cima.”
