Hi Lilie. I followed everything you taught and got a 7.5 for writing (overall 8.5). Thank you so much
Fantastic! Really happy for you!
Assalamualaikum, Wei. Can you give me some suggestions to do well in ielts. I will be grateful to you😊. Actually, I can't know how to start my preparation 🥹. Advanced thanks.
@Zahid Hasan Khoka Hi Zahid. I would suggest starting by familiarising yourself with all four sections of the IELTS test (number of questions, time allocated, types of questions...). Then, look for sample questions/ videos on the Internet and practise as much as you can. I would recommend preparing in this order: listening ----> reading ----> speaking ----> writing. I left speaking and writing as the last two sections as they are more "format-heavy," and doing them closer to the test date can prevent you from forgetting important info such as how to write your intro, body paragraphs and conclusion (writing) and points to use when asked about certain topics (speaking). I hope this makes sense, and I wish you all the best.
hi, from which sources were you practising your reading? because i do good at cambridge books but for example sites like miniielts, i do really bad
@@ketumwei6956 Thank you for your advice 🖤. Obviously I will follow your instructions. Can you recommend some of UA-cam channel, plz. Actually, I have to self study only. Can't join coaching center.

@@LilieIELTS 🥰
Wait I'm confused where did alevins come from?
Completely disagree that you cant write wrong since the alevin part is missing .Its not a science exam , its an English exam, You need to describe what is written in the diagram , they are checking for grammar and vocabulary structure not your science knowledge
You are the key for me to the freedom.
Woww, so nice of you!
is it 3 main stages or 4 stages i am confused
I think U explained the whole template for cyclical diagram with a great example, I hope this will help me to get my target score. Thank U.
Best of luck!✊
Please mam upload more videos of both writting task cz I am preparing for my ilets test and I came to know that your videos are perfect for me to understand 😊
Sure I will😊

Thanks for the kind words. I talk about multiple choice questions in this video: ua-cam.com/video/pE-ko4rSoaA/v-deo.html
Your videos are awesome❤️. I am watching from Bangladesh. 🇧🇩
Glad you like them!😊
Its too much help Full 👍🏻
Wowww, thanks for the kind remarks!
Hi Lilie ,i had such a Confusion about diagram .Some people say no need overview the just right 3 part just you show differently .Which one is courrect .
Please watch the overview section of this video: ua-cam.com/video/q9evxl9hCg8/v-deo.html
Hope it will help😊
Thank you 🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️
No problem 😊
It is not mentioned in the diagram that the adults die after they spawn plus some fish really travel back to the ocean as adults. So adding all the periods and using the word lifespan here may be misunderstanding.
excellent lecture mam , thankyou
Thanks for liking😊
im following u mam from the beginning of my ielts and hope...i would also get 7 in writing
Hope you get a 7 soon and when you get your test result, don't forget to come back and share it here.
As this is a cyclical process why did you not use the cyclical stage like use & reuse of recycling plastic bottles in overview??
Pls kindly answer
I'm glad that you asked. Unlike plastic recycling where the plastic bottles are made into new plastic bottles, salmon do not become new salmon. In the end they die. A single organism doesn't technically "complete" a cycle unless you believe in reincarnation. In short, a life cycle is not the same as a manufacturing cycle. Does this make sense?
@@LilieIELTS yes, this absolutely makes sense. Thanks a lot for the clarification
Hye Lillie, instead of illustrates can we use display ?
Yes, "display" is good.
Thx thnx thnx 🥀
1 thing i don't understand is...how are we supposed to know that the eggs get hatched in 2-3 months and not 5-6. Don't we only have to go by the given data? and it wont be possible to know about every topic. :/
Yes, you are right. The best we can hope for is that if we write something wrong because the chart is misleading, we won't be marked down.
One more thing, the diagrams don't show that the eggs hatch after 5-6 months, but it does mislead us to believe so.
In a plastic cycle you said we should not use begin and end why are we using it in this Salmon cycle when the process repeat itself please help am writing my IELTS exam on 13th October
Hi, I'm glad that you asked. Unlike plastic recycling where the plastic bottles are made into new plastic bottles, salmon do not become new salmon. In the end they die. Why here passive voice used same time in silk production present simple tenses was used
How the life span of salmon is 9 years? After 9 years it becomes adult salmon? (4 to become smolt + 5 to become adult)
teacher plz help me "fry which measure" why "measure" no "s" ?
The plural form of "fry" is also "fry", not "fries".
Good day, I just did my IELTS exam but In the writing task 2, after writing my conclusion I wanted to add another sentence to it but I was unable to finish the sentence. The sentence remain just one word to be complete. Won't it affect my score badly.
I don't think it will. Don't worry about it too much.
How much did you score?
😊😊😊😊
there are lots of unknown words that require necessary but ı don't know most words. How can I struggle with it?
You will get better as you learn and practice. For example, if you practice the life cycle of the salmon, you will become better at describing the life cycle of any other species.
@@LilieIELTS thanks and i will be taking ielts exam on saturday, wish me luck :)
Please more videos!!!!!
I'll upload one next week.😊
❤🙏
Thanks lilie.
9 band?!
May be you should speak little bit slowly. It wouldn't be easy for everyone to understand. Especially for the new comer. Other than you did great. Keep shining.
Sorry about that. Every time I watch my videos, I was like why I speak so fast!
you can just slow the youtube video.
Thanks ,
can u tell why don't you spell out the numbers below 21.
for eg: 4 years could have been written as four years.
See if this article helps: www.grammarly.com/blog/when-to-spell-out-numbers/
I completely disagree with the use of average lifespan because in the process it is showing till adult only.If you are using average life span it means it is living for 9 years. But in the process it displays it become adult in 9 years.
my book suggest me not to use colons in writing task
Why not? If you're really uncomfortable with it, you can replace it with a dash.😊
@@LilieIELTS because its written in book
Why so fast????!!!!
It’s include too much details. We don’t need to know whole process just write what you see in the diagram.
What's your secret to good English?
I wrote almost all the essays on my site: www.ieltsessaybank.com/
See at 10:16 “…which is a large fish species…” species is plural dear and you are using ‘a’ 😅 OMG!
"species" is singular there.
if we will write diagrams or essay we must have achieved 150 words.however, that 150 words are considering the pronouns??
Yes, pronouns count.
@@LilieIELTS Oh my god! Are you reply for me 🙄🙄
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
The lesson would be more understandable if you spoke a bit slower. New learners may face some problem to catch on, may not they?!
Sorry about that. I slowed down in my newer videos.
You are perfect!👏
Pie chat plz
I've published many pie chart essays on my website. You may find them helpful.

wtf is saline water. you mean salt water.
You spoke too much complicating your video
Your video is ok,but you over explained a lot of unnecessary things.we are asked to only talk about what we are seeing
