Budokai 3 is to date my favourite ps2 and dragon ball game. So good for it's time. Such a shame my CD broke. If I ever find one I'll be able to play it again on the ps2

if this game made the frieza race have some transformations, like 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th form, but they couldn't use some abilities until a certain transformation is achieved, and it had the clothing removed, it would add some awesomeness. The game could also add a SSG or SSGSS, with the same purpose, while adding to the earthlings the possibility of regenerate ki faster and namekians to reset their health from an enormous amount of damage (ex. A guy gets me with super vanishing ball). In addition, for the buu race to have the ability of giving up height and weight to increase ki blast super damage, but have the same speed of 2nd type of weight.

Well Beerus fought Frieza. Frieza landed hits on Beerus goes to Gold and loses energy or stamina. and Beerus won well in his full power he landed like 13 hits or less. just like Whis vs anyone power level he could be 50% 70% 90% his maximum was the full power
I hate how this game is missing so many characters. No majin vegeta, dabura, buu when he absorbed gotenks piccolo and gohan, regular gogeta besides ssj4, cooler, they skipped all the androids except 17 and 18 and skipped the other forms of frieza and cell. This game has so much potential but is so half asses that it isnt nearly as good as it should be.
+Thomas Anthony its simply because budokai tenkaichi 3 used chracter models from their other two games. Xenoverse had to remake all the characters from scratch again they didnt have existing models to use. expect more in xenoverse 2 have a good day!
I have an lvl. 84 saiyin and no matter what I do I can't get passed Gotenks,Adult Gohan,or Vegeta in Total Chaos Rival Rumble in story mode. And I'm getting very annoyed by it. Please help !!!!
One piece of advice from me to u Turn Super Saiyan Spam Perfect Kamehameha or Super Electric Strike till they're down I still have the game as well on my Xbox 360 still enjoy it

For example, the power difference between buu and players like yamcha, tien etc was small. 4) Very large variety in ultimates/supers. 5) DBX has many others things to do, that keep the game interesting. Usually BT3 gets boring very quickly (even if you are a big DB fan like me) Basically, the only thing better in BT 3 is the variety of characters and maps.

Yes and yes. But your Charecter will only go SSJ if you complete quest 14 you need to kill piccolo and vegeta before gohan then gohan than Goku Goku won't transform all the time so yeh. Don't uses capsules they will lower your chances of getting it

It's pretty dumb that the only way you can get SSJ4 Vegeta is if you pre-ordered the game way back in January or something. He should've been in the DLC (ditto for the shiny armor)

Dude, this is a casual game, it doesn't have to have all the characters, I agree with some of the choices but it's not necessary to include characters for almost every animated thing in the series
It would be cool a dbz game with all the dragonball z budokai tenkaichi 3 characters along with raging blast 2 and with xenoverse characters and option to create a fighter. With raging blast 2 graphics n gameplay but that probably won't happen

I only play half hour of this game and let's just say.... this Character roster is not that bad but is missing a lots of Characters. Like seriously where's, Cooler, Mechan Freaza, Gogeta SSJ, The Original Kid Goku, Demon King Piccolo, Android 16, Adroid 19, Cell 1st & 2nd Transformations, Chilled (hope I preannounced that right), Arabel (I know she's not an DBZ Character but she was on Budokai Tenkaichi 3), Janabam, Master Roshi, etc. also the Gameplay is good but Not that Compress like Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Blust Limit 2. the MMO Setting is OK but it have their own problems like Not entering to the MMO room sometimes and there's some lacks went you play online. I love the concept of making your own DBZ Characters and the Original Story mode is great. overall Xenoverse is an Fun Game for all those DBZ fans that really want to have an good experience, but Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Extreme Butuden are still Better in my opinion. I Give it at least a 7/10.
They could have Ampted up the roster with LOTS of charecters like DB and GT but the gameplay it self is amazing. If they made a legit story mode started from DB to GT and had a big roster it would be the best game ever. But if course people would get picky and say " the gameplay sucks so the game sucks" even though the controls are like the budoki games.
I honestly wish they would go back to the "budokai" style of fighting instead of the "tenkaichi" style. I miss my fighters facing each other instead of flying all over a map. Idk maybe it's just me.

It would be cool a dbz game with all the dragonball z budokai tenkaichi 3 characters along with raging blast 2 and with xenoverse characters and option to create a fighter. With raging blast 2 graphics n gameplay but that probably won't happen
+Julian Cisneros Yeah the Tenkaichi 3 characters sounded great but if you notice it, they are just a re-skin of multiple characters sharing the same move set but with diferent colors and sparks.

I only play half hour of this game and let's just say.... this Character roster is not that bad but is missing a lots of Characters. Like seriously where's, Cooler, Mechan Freaza, Gogeta SSJ, The Original Kid Goku, Demon King Piccolo, Android 16, Adroid 19, Cell 1st & 2nd Transformations, Chilled (hope I preannounced that right), Arabel (I know she's not an DBZ Character but she was on Budokai Tenkaichi 3), Janabam, Master Roshi, etc. also the Gameplay is good but Not that Compress like Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Blust Limit 2. the MMO Setting is OK but it have their own problems like Not entering to the MMO room sometimes and there's some lacks went you play online. I love the concept of making your own DBZ Characters and the Original Story mode is great. overall Xenoverse is an Fun Game for all those DBZ fans that really want to have an good experience, but Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Extreme Butuden are still Better in my opinion. I Give it at least a 7/10.

Your rate for the game is better than other peoples though. You obviously have a great taste in games. I would give it an 8/10
They could have Ampted up the roster with LOTS of charecters like DB and GT but the gameplay it self is amazing. If they made a legit story mode started from DB to GT and had a big roster it would be the best game ever. But if course people would get picky and say " the gameplay sucks so the game sucks" even though the controls are like the budoki games.

Fun fact-If you believe Tenkaichi 3 actually has 160+ characters(more than half of which are transformations and duplicates), then Xenoverse has 219 including DLC and custom characters. 163 without custom characters
