    What is the distance between the ceiling and the bottom of the kayak when it's fully hoisted? I'd like to install mine above where I park my car, but I want to make sure there will l be enough clearance. Thanks!

      Thanks for watching the video and for posting this question! There's roughly 2 to 2.5 feet distance between kayak and ceiling when fully hoisted depending on tension and which loops on the straps you end up using. There's a bit of flexibility to get it a bit higher if clearance is an issue.
