This is PERFECTLY timed! I had revelation about this on my walk this morning after my prayer. The Lord had been guiding me for months after I gave my life to Christ and I was in alignment with his will for me. UNTIL last week when I began to start thinking about what I wanted to do again instead and begged the Lord to give me permission and his stamp of approval. And I felt his spirit say to me “Do what you want, but this is not my will for you.” I was anxious for days because I know that when I lose his peace that is when I have stopped surrendering and I’ve moved into controlling. And after prayer this morning, after I gave that desire to him to pursue another path.. I asked him to show me that he had heard me and I looked up and saw a rainbow. I HAVENT seen a rainbow in months! I then felt him say “do not forget the promise I have given you, be patient and continue on.” I felt his peace overflow me and I am full of joy. I may not pursue what I thought I wanted BUT I much rather know that I am pursuing what I NEED!
I had an experience like this as well I was praying for the lords will in my life and got a tiny rainbow flash of light I never had this rainbow before. I had a feeling as to what it meant a promise, but couldn't grasp it, this testimony deeply showed me thank you 🙏🙏

Not only am I praying this prayer. This feeling is exactly what brought me to your service today. It is almost the prayer I prayed last night because I have drifted far away from what I know is right.
When I surrendered to Christ in 2016! God put it on my heart to pursue a degree in Biblical studies with the intent to become a pastor. In 2018, my wife got diagnosed with dementia sending our family spiraling out of control. 8 years later a career change, pursing a masters degree in pastoral counseling, broken, and my life has went a totally different direction from what I thought. God's plans are always different from ours. Psalm 32:8

One of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control. Depend on the Holy Spirit. Cant do it without Him. That is why He is given to every believer when we become Born Again.. He is our helper, and our power and strength to resist sin. Our flesh is weak, but the Spirit is strong. The door is always open, Just dont give up, and keep trying. Be sure to spend time in prayer and His word daily to build that foundation, and develop that relationship with Jesus. Its essential. He cares for you, and has a special purpose for you. Seek Him 100%, and you will find victory over sin. And when temptation comes to mind, capture it immediately, and pray for the Holy Spirit to remove it, and it will flee. The longer you entertain it, the harder it will be to avoid. Run from it if you have to. Remember, God knows your heart, that is the important thing to always remember. We are not perfect, but as long as you are looking to Jesus for help, and your desire is to please Him, You will overcome. Its not always easy being a Christian, but it will all be worth it one day. We won't be able to rebuild our convictions unless we first decide to take God seriously, and that means prioritizing him in our daily lives. If we never make this decision, we'll never be able to escape the empty, powerless life of the hollow Christian. One way to do this is to set aside time each day for God.

I pray daily for God’s guidance and direction. I feel so lost because I don’t understand what is happening in my life right now. I pray that I hear Him soon.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you would give this child glimpses of your goodness every day. It's normal to feel discouraged and wonder where you are in all this. Even the Psalmist felt these things. Please restore hope and purpose to this child, even if it's just to hold onto you right now through the uncertainty. Amen
The only way to hear from God is through His word. The best way to receive the guidance and direction you are looking for is to spend intimate time daily in prayer and the word. When we are born again, God sends His Holy Spirit to live inside of you. He is Gods seal of salvation. The Holy Spirit is the one that teaches us and guides us to our purpose in Christ. We need to depend upon Him. So we need to develop a relationship with Jesus through His Holy Spirit by talking to Him in prayer. Tell Him how you feel, what you are going through. No special words. That is what He desires. Then read a chapter or 2 in the bible, asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand, and to speak to you through scripture. The Holy Spirit wants to be invited. You are not alone. You can talk to the Holy Spirit. When you do this, the word will come alive, and you will become enlightened. He will guide you to scripture you may need at that moment. That is how we get to know Jesus. Remember, He was just like you at one time. Walking and talking to people. So He knows what you are going through. The more you continue doing this daily, you are going to realize just how close He really is, and the Holy Spirit will start guiding you where He wants you to go. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Hope it helps. Will send a prayer your way, in Jesus name. Be blessed

Not only am I praying this prayer. This feeling is exactly what brought me to your service today. It is almost the prayer I prayed last night because I have drifted far away from what I know is right.

When I surrendered to Christ in 2016! God put it on my heart to pursue a degree in Biblical studies with the intent to become a pastor. In 2018, my wife got diagnosed with dementia sending our family spiraling out of control. 8 years later a career change, pursing a masters degree in pastoral counseling, broken, and my life has went a totally different direction from what I thought. God's plans are always different from ours. Psalm 32:8
Jesus you are the King of my life, and the King of the world 🌎 there's nothing more rewarding than serving You 🩷

One of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control. Depend on the Holy Spirit. Cant do it without Him. That is why He is given to every believer when we become Born Again.. He is our helper, and our power and strength to resist sin. Our flesh is weak, but the Spirit is strong. The door is always open, Just dont give up, and keep trying. Be sure to spend time in prayer and His word daily to build that foundation, and develop that relationship with Jesus. Its essential. He cares for you, and has a special purpose for you. Seek Him 100%, and you will find victory over sin. And when temptation comes to mind, capture it immediately, and pray for the Holy Spirit to remove it, and it will flee. The longer you entertain it, the harder it will be to avoid. Run from it if you have to. Remember, God knows your heart, that is the important thing to always remember. We are not perfect, but as long as you are looking to Jesus for help, and your desire is to please Him, You will overcome. Its not always easy being a Christian, but it will all be worth it one day. Keep the faith. God bless. Will pray for you

We won't be able to rebuild our convictions unless we first decide to take God seriously, and that means prioritizing him in our daily lives. If we never make this decision, we'll never be able to escape the empty, powerless life of the hollow Christian. One way to do this is to set aside time each day for God.

I pray daily for God’s guidance and direction. I feel so lost because I don’t understand what is happening in my life right now. I pray that I hear Him soon.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you would give this child glimpses of your goodness every day. It's normal to feel discouraged and wonder where you are in all this. Even the Psalmist felt these things. Please restore hope and purpose to this child, even if it's just to hold onto you right now through the uncertainty. Amen
The only way to hear from God is through His word. The best way to receive the guidance and direction you are looking for is to spend intimate time daily in prayer and the word. When we are born again, God sends His Holy Spirit to live inside of you. He is Gods seal of salvation. The Holy Spirit is the one that teaches us and guides us to our purpose in Christ. We need to depend upon Him. So we need to develop a relationship with Jesus through His Holy Spirit by talking to Him in prayer. Tell Him how you feel, what you are going through. No special words. That is what He desires. Then read a chapter or 2 in the bible, asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand, and to speak to you through scripture. The Holy Spirit wants to be invited. You are not alone. You can talk to the Holy Spirit. When you do this, the word will come alive, and you will become enlightened. He will guide you to scripture you may need at that moment. That is how we get to know Jesus. Remember, He was just like you at one time. Walking and talking to people. So He knows what you are going through. The more you continue doing this daily, you are going to realize just how close He really is, and the Holy Spirit will start guiding you where He wants you to go. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Hope it helps. Will send a prayer your way, in Jesus name. Be blessed
