Really smart using Kirk Thorton‘s performance from somewhere else! He’s greatly improved with training his voice to sound less gruff and more whispery-soft for Shadow, but we don’t have a lot of that tone up to now. This is a great piece to show more of his potential.
That's Kirk Thornton? Goddamn man! Its got the whispery quality of Griffith and the softness of Humphrey, this could have been shadows voice for the whole decade and it could have overshadowed the terrible writing, but they wasted it with the old man villain voice which made it 5x worse.
This was super cool!! I love the clean line work and shading, and that perspective work you were talking about improving is definitely showing here! Everything about this is just 👌

He never had anything or anyone to fight for nor protect ever since he lost Maria. But now, he may have found a purpose and someone to defend. Of course this is just my theory. As Sonic, Tails & Knuckles go underwater, Sonic notices Amy swimming right beside him, even though Amy and Sonic’s view is a little blurry, Amy opens her eyes and notices him, completely surrounded by the sparkling shinny blue chlorine filled water. He then waves to Amy and Amy waves back, as Sonic Tails and Knuckles, go up for air, they make some sort of joke here. I’m not so good with the writing, but maybe you and ‘Tails’ can figure it out. 😎👌✌️

I feel that some artists who are fans of shadamy deny being so for fear of the fans, but the truth is that I have seen much more popular videos of shadow and amy, I think that for someone who does not know the fandom, it would attract more attention to see a serious guy like shadow interacting with someone as sweet as amy
I think if you like what you like, within reason, you should be okay to express that. I'm a Boom!Shadamy fan rather than Modern Shadamy, but I'm a sonamy channel so it's more so catered to that ship. I plan to have the occasional Boom!Shadamy video but it's not my main theme, doesn't mean I don't like it. Channels like Toonsite do very well with shadamy themed content and I do very well with sonamy content. No need to forcibly implement a ship just to do so if it's not your overall theme. I get what you're saying tho. I'm not afraid to label a video as Shadamy, if it's what I intended, it will be labeled as such. This video wasn't so I just had to make that clear, but viewers are welcome to speculate if that's what they want 🤭
