Courtney I so needed to hear this word today. Today I texted my sister who I have not seen or spoken to for almost 10 years asking and giving forgiveness for the the past - thank you so much for reminding me to put aside the “therapy of instagram” and instead start paying attention to the requirement from God. Thank you!!❤😊

💯🙌There is a tiny “but” in there. I always make peace & I forgive freely all the time & I thank God for HIS pure peace from forgiveness. The “but” is that we do have to take a step back from certain ppl who are truly damaging to us & our families. I call it loving from a distance. There are abusive people who consistently cause trouble & trauma in others’ lives. Yes, forgive AND ALSO steer clear of those whose only aim is to cause harm or inadvertently cause harm.

Lord I lift up my sister in Christ Lord give her the strength to turn away from the lies of the enemy /worldly things to turn to you instead because you can truly give her what her soul desires and needs ,Love ,peace ,healing ,JOY... . I pray that you remind her that she is precious to you and forgiven , because what you did on the cross Jesus, so no more shame once laid at the cross.Lord after she has accepted forgiveness Lord please give her what it takes to poor out forgiveness on those who have hurt her .
