Cause you dont understand the Bible. The aliens look just like us. They are not some outterspace creatures. They are humans who are possessed with demons. Why do you think the coronavirus was created?
yeah, "war of the worlds" is really a misnomer in this show. very soon it becomes obvious that what they are dealing with aren't aliens. like, somewhere in the middle of the first episode. the only thing similar to war of the worlds is the initial attack, after which it becomes, literally, story about human stupidity. it's actually fun, cause everything they do is basically digging them deeper and deeper, and at some point you realize, we don't need aliens nor god's intervention, we will be the end of ourselves
You'll never get the hours back wasted watching another bad television/movie version. Save yourself the effort and time and read the original H.G. Wells novel set in Victorian England with 12 and 14 pound artillery weapons facing off against heat rays and chemical weapons. Everyone knows the ending by now but the story as told in the novel is still enjoyable and enlightening.
Finally a good translation of the Jeff Wayne's musical version. The tripods look a lot more like those on the cover then those in the Stephen Spielberg version. Also the story is more in that style. Absolutely brilliant.
I am enjoying this but (especially season 2) has little connection with the original story anymore. The aliens are now in human form, it's like "Walking Dead". Groups of people fighting and killing each other to horde resources and stay alive. They should have just given it another name, and not tie it to the H.G. Wells story.
I enjoyed this. It was slow moving but with a good plot. It shouldn’t have been titled wotw. Too many expectations around it being like the hgwells story.
I don't understand people saying "Blah Blah episodes in & waiting for something to happen / something suspenseful to happen" etc, I've only seen two episodes and both of those were intense & scary af. What channel will this tv show war or the world's.? Netflix ,Amazon, regular cable.?
You can’t have a war of the worlds story without tripods, and with what I heard there isn’t any. 🙁
yeah, "war of the worlds" is really a misnomer in this show. very soon it becomes obvious that what they are dealing with aren't aliens. like, somewhere in the middle of the first episode. the only thing similar to war of the worlds is the initial attack, after which it becomes, literally, story about human stupidity. it's actually fun, cause everything they do is basically digging them deeper and deeper, and at some point you realize, we don't need aliens nor god's intervention, we will be the end of ourselves
It's just the sound of my dog snoring.
Is that how it's shown in the BBC series "War of the World's"?
What channel this comes on and what day ? Please.
Answers the question 'what if alien movies were depressing?'
How much and where do I find this?
Will there eventually be extraterrestrials in this series? Ancient Astronaut theorists say yes
I get it🤣🤣... Ancient Aliens rit?
So is this out and is it any good?
The aliens are afraid to proceed with the invasion, after they find out about the Covid 19...
It’s officially released??
Were are The trípods?!
They are invisible this time
no budget
this is so original you know... a tv show about aliens but without fxcking ALIENS...
You're original. You whine, have no patience and don't understand what suspense is like everyone else. So please stop complaining.
Finally a good translation of the Jeff Wayne's musical version. The tripods look a lot more like those on the cover then those in the Stephen Spielberg version. Also the story is more in that style. Absolutely brilliant.
There weren't any 'tri-pods' (fighting machines), just robot dogs.
this better be satire
Just finished season 2. Wow.
Very interesting conclusion.
Or is it?
I am enjoying this but (especially season 2) has little connection with the original story anymore. The aliens are now in human form, it's like "Walking Dead". Groups of people fighting and killing each other to horde resources and stay alive. They should have just given it another name, and not tie it to the H.G. Wells story.
Exactly. This should have been its own named show and not wotw
It's Gray Skies all over again, just without mind control zombies.
Quando vai está disponível?
I think it would have helped if a lot more people knew that cars were Faraday cages. Including the people in the writers' room.
Is there gonna be a series 2
Just finished watching 1st episode..... show is great!!!!
I'm scared to watch the next episode. In my opinion they're doing a brilliant job on the fear-factor of the show, like damn.
Will it be on Netflix?
I really recommend you watch this. I’ve just done season 1 and 2 in 3 days. It’s brilliant. I’ll start season 3 this weekend. ♥️
where can i watch this??
Watching this new version, they way the survivors are acting they're never going to survive , they dont deserve to survive moody teenagers adults with so much emotional baggage all worrying more about them selves than trying to survive and fight back .
Wasn't that what you guys were doing back in the states?
WHERE CAN I WATCH THIS ???
when BBC version's trailer drop. people bashing spielberg version for no reason(or may be they just hate dagota's scream, dunno) and look how that version goes.
Spielberg version is the best. hands down.
It's true. It's the only one that approaches the sense of dread the book has, especially that first reveal, which is a masterclass.
where I can see this??
The recent BBC adaptation was one of the worst things I've sat through in recent years (and that is saying a lot) Sad to say this looks just as bad. The budget just cannot cope with what is needed for an epic like this.
well done for sitting through it, first episode was already too much for me
@@derekgrimes6544 I actually thought the BBC show started strong, and it just sort of fell apart at the end.
this is way better tbh
Is this out yet?
They just released season 2.
