Big title fights like Usman vs Burns at the APEX was epic. Lowkey going to miss this atmosphere but am happy to have the fans back as well…..bittersweet moment for sure
The fact everything was uncertain and desperate for things to be back to normal and ufc put on a card and it was like thank fucking fuck.
I enjoyed the quietness too at the times aswell I just appreciate the events when fuck all was happening
@@MMAFan1984 facts bro bro. being able to hear every strike was something new that we’ve never experienced before…..it was sick. i think towards the end most ppl were over it & were hyped for fans to be back but it was fun while it lasted for sure!
“lOw KeY”
@@chiefclem It's weird, but watching from home, I prefer the Apex. Being able to hear the fighters and the corners so clearly was very, very cool.
@@triplelife5147 yee its all preference rlly…..the biggest difference i’d say w/ crowd vs no crowd is if ur watching at a bar/restaurant, makes the atmosphere more electric
never gonna forget what the ufc did during the pandemic espeically the beginning stages. brought great fights and excitement thank you ufc, apex and the fighters
No need to thank the apex bro 😂
@@LiterallyRiggtarded why not

It’s just an inanimate building
@@LiterallyRiggtarded okay and? you mad people thank an inanimate building more than you?
@@Mattheyou

The trilogy of figgy and moreno is actually insane. Epic rivalry
It is. The God of War got A draw and Brandon Moreno alias The Assasins baby got 2 draw is the moment i have ever seen.
@@muhammadwahyuhidayat21498 assasins baby? I thought it was babyface assassin?
And too think there's still more questions as to whose really better. They could easily do an immediate 4th rematch. What other fighter rivalry has been so close to warrant 4 fights in a row?
@@ringzy not mma but it reminds me of Pacquiao vs Marquez
People refer it to as soul mates meeting each other in the ring
@@for.u925 that’s curry
The Usman vs Burns fight had a very dark vibe the entire time, one of my favorites.
It was _so_ dark
The ambience without the crowd truly gives you a beautiful perspective of the sport. Gaethje vs Ferguson was so epic, because you could literally hear the damage Ferguson was taking. It was gruesome
@Limited Infinity the booing is main reason I much prefer no crowd. Even with the coaches and small amount of people in attendance there was still plenty noise happening in the exciting moments. Ric Flair woos are also very old
I don’t know what y’all are talking about. The crowd gives life to each fight. The experience gets enhanced with the ground. Sports without a crowd is like chicken with no seasoning. It’s just bland. Hearing the impact of the strikes was cool for like 2 events, then it wasn’t as good
Usman’s jab is unreal, Burns didn’t even SEE it coming, rocked him
bro it didn't even look all that powerful until you hear the THUD from that shit. especially that first strike he landed on the ground as well. that mofo is strong as fuck
His on steroids.
@@DuslamPorichev I looked into it, the video “Usman - what I think he takes” is very interesting, highly recommended. I still think Usman’s jab technique is great tho.
@@DuslamPorichev all on gear xD.
@@DuslamPorichevStill a great fighter with great technique and work ethic and if you don't think colby is on gear with his cardio and recovery/durability You're very dumb
Meagan Anderson was the saddest attempt at a title fight I've ever seen, looked terrified from the start
Amanda literally retired her
Yes
@@Teddyisoffline she should make a new debut on OF
Fr i saw it now 💀💀💀tf was that
I think UFC just gave her a title shot because Amanda was making everyone in that division look like grandmas with walking issues. I mean Megan wasn't even ranked lmao
It’s cool how the first male title fight in the apex was the heavyweight title fight and ended with a heavyweight title fight
Figuereido's submission was smooth, top level bjj
On god
I swear these Brazilian fighters are born locking up chokes, so smooth!
I honestly really hope the UFC keeps the Apex for big events. Even if it wouldn't make sense for PPV's anymore, having an Apex Fight Night like once a month would be awesome.
There is. There’s one every Saturday all of March
@@jg1692 yeah but they are starting to book fight nights on the road again, I didn't mind the apex either, I think it's great for certain fighters (I mean Kevin Holland made a living out of that building) and it's great to have a clear hearing of the coaches, so understand the technical and team aspects of the fight game.
@@jg1692 This week is at the Apex, next week is in London, and the following week is in Columbus, Ohio. So going forward I think the plan is to cut down on the Apex a lot.
Apex sucks. Wouldn’t mind no crowd but the fact that the octagon in there is way smaller than the regular one ist just ridiculous
@@auranewaters9574 why does that matter to you
Pretty nuts we’ve been doing this Apex thing for 2 years now
@Big Bad punisher he works for the ufc
@Big Bad punisher We include in the fans
The jab from Usman on Burns was a thing of beauty
Meagan Anderson got hit and was like “oh fuck we’re in a fight.”
Yeah she looked nervous .. but the second nunes touched her , that changed to absolute fear . You dont know till you know.. now megan anderson knows
What was so impressive about Jan's performance against Izzy is that he beat him everywhere. Not just in the wrestling. He clearly outstriked him. I think Jan operates best when he is the underdog. When people don't put all the pressure on him as favorite.
Its just that he didnt have to worry about takedowns, so he put 100% to striking. While izzy didnt have that opportunity
@Cookie monster Jan would have *KOed* Izzy *COLD* that night. he was just the better fighter. accept it and move on. After Glover Retires Izzy can try again. no chance at beating Glover though either.
@@devinburkett9036 Except he didn't lol
@@goby3807 hehe except he didn't hehe.
Even though Jan had more sig strikes, total strikes, accuracy, ground control, he didn't hehe
@@devinburkett9036 Relax izzy hater LOL. He wiped out the middleweight division clean. Put some respek on his name fool
Such a shame Cormier couldn’t retire in front of fans. Forever a legend 🤧🖤
At least he retired in one of the best trilogies ever and against a HW legend like Stipe
glad he got eye poked after what he did to stipe tho lol
@Cottonheaded Ninnymuggins nice try, but Daniel has always cheated with the eye pokes. Its not even hand fighting like he claims, he literally jabs with his fingers straight out. I love dc as a commentator but could not stand him as a dirty fighter.
@@Tonysopranoyafinook This type of fans that enjoy fighters bad blood are so fucking annoying. Get rekt kiddo
Underrated DC !! What a beast !
Lmao at aljo throwing away the belt only to be seen taking pictures with it everywhere on social media after
Because his family and friends said to own it
Don't pretend like you wouldn't do the same.
the winner by disqualification announcement still gives me chills and sadness too
Title fights in the apex always seemed to have the most tension in the air
I miss the apex's Intimacy with a big fight it was quite something hearing the thuds 👊
Figgy " Moreno crybabiy 😂" is really funny.
I'm not gonna miss the pandemic but I will miss crowdless fights. It's just such a crazy atmosphere and you hear EVERYTHING.
Knowing Francis’s life story & everything that he has been through, it’s truly amazing how far he has come in life.
Yeah yeah everybody's got a story boo hoo poor frankie 😭
@@shadyganley8877 U still sad he put Stipe to sleep?
@@shadyganley8877 Doing child labor and then becoming a millionaire at the top of his sport is a pretty unique story but ofc there's always pricks like you wanting to be negative for whatever reason
@@stonecold316339 He turned Stipe into Sleepe.
@@madgavin7568 LOL!!
Usman worked burns bad with that piston of a jab.
Aljamain's acting will never get old 💀🤣
He got knee'd in the head..let someone knee you in the head and see if you want to still fight
they really showed aljo getting knocked out as his highlight hhahahaha good one dana
Usman talks like he’s the narrator for an action movie commercial 🤣 “this summer… you will put some respect on my fuck*n name”
Haaha 🤣
Valentina finally has new challengers in her division. Talia Santos, Casey O’ Neil, Manon Fiorot, Erin Blanchfield. Straw weight is definitely still the best female division but I think flyweight can get a lot better soon.
I’m certain these Apex fights helped to get more fans to the sport, especially since no other sports were on in the early stages. Definitely got me hooked, gonna miss the feel of an apex fight
These title fights in the Apex are so underrated 🏆🤯
the thrill and agony frfr with stipe vs francis. ngannous KOs are amongst the most thrilling within the world. i really felt for stipe, sucg a good dude, often overlooked albeit havin the most UFC HW defenses. both great guys
It had to happen though, it was Francis Ngannou's destiny to become UFC champion. Stipe Miocic by that stage already had a legendary career worthy of the Hall of the Fame, but it was time for a new champion.
@@madgavin7568 Yeah time for the division to finally move on after blocking it up for 3 years with the DC shit

Free Cain Velasquez!!!
@@saidawale8052 no comments from the peanut gallery
I wish Cain could of actually completed his attempt but he almost killed the wrong person and he has to take whats coming to him. He should have been smarter about it and hired someone or did it when nobody was around.

Dana: DC's eye was never DC's friend.
At this point usman transcended to a cheat code aka beast mode 6:34
I love the atmosphere of the apex fights. I love how you can hear how loud that mat is
Joe: There's no one even close to her
Julianna: Hold my belt
I loved usmans fights
I hope the ufc doesn’t stop using the apex. Some incredible unforgettable fights have taken place there
Hate the smaller octagon
@@auranewaters9574 i think it looks cool
10:51 was the only time mma fans complained about the size of the octagon. well done champ
Yeah that was pretty pathetic from Stipe fans. If anything the smaller cage favoured Stipe as he had a wrestling background and the cage benefits wrestlers unless they have no clue how to use it to their advantage.
Dude those guys look like giants in that small of a cage it’s actually crazy how small it looks
Whoever has watched Stipe's fights knows that he needs space to work. In the first fight it was his footwork that made Francis miss and every person with average iq knows that you need room for that. But your iq level is the exact opposite of Chimaev's hype. 🤣😂🤣😂 From all the fights you prove again and again that your whole concern is Stipe. He lives rent free on your head bro. It's logical. He's the goat.
@@thesilencer4638 The small cage benefitted Stipe in the wrestling department, which was a major path to victory. But Ngannou just got much better, acknowledge that instead of making excuses for Stipe.
Francis turned Stipe into Sleepe, deal with it.
@@madgavin7568 You don't seem to understand basic things. It's not just wrestling but the means that lead you to utilize it. Footwork is one of it and one of stipe's main weapons. Last time i checked he was training his ass off in contrast to Francis who was shitting bricks entering his 2nd fight after the beating Stipe put on him. Sorry pal
Amazing video brooooo
Damn Figi and Moreno 1 was such a damn war.
Aljo's reaction at the final decision will always send me 🤣
The atmosphere there is just unique
I miss these fights with no crowds. Also, FREE CAIN!
Nah I love the oohs and ahs
Figueiredo v Moreno 1 is an all time classic!
I know very little about stipe but boy every time he fights he gives me chills
2020 feels like 4 years ago I can’t believe all these fights I forgot about
I love how literally every champ defended their title in 2021 except sterling. Dude hasn't even tried to defend it. Give it back to yan he will actually defend it
The sterling fight isn’t canon. He defended his belt vs Cory imo.
I like how your conveniently ignoring Sterling's neck injury but oh well keep cheering on the cheater.
@@SphericaI Same
@@cheeseball5030 I guess we will have to see come next month 🤷
@@cheeseball5030 yup. We gotta cheer for Sterling... Oh wait, were you talking about Yan? Sorry, it's confusing on who's the actual cheater is 😂
Aljo is a legend.
Great vid
Adesanya is one of my favorite fighters but his light heavy weight fight is an example of being able to tell the difference between a middleweight going to light heavy weight and a pure heavy weight going to light heavy weight kind of match up
Love Francis the preditor too. I love all my heavy wts welter too when in shape
I like the apex cause I like to here what the fighters and the coaches are saying and 6:18 Kamaru’s punches sound like gun shots
Usmans jab on burns is a thing of beauty fr
that clip of Izzy vs Jan showed the standup was pretty competitive, i only remember Izzy being unable to move from Jans top pressure.
Jan beat him in the striking, however people who don’t like Izzy act like it was not competitive, which is false. Izzy did well but Jan did better.
When i saw Figgy doing that move going for the leg i was like "Training with Triple C really works' 😃
It sucks that we may never see stipe fight ever again, what a champion
I will *certainly* miss the sound of the Apex without a Crowd. Nothing better than getting to *Hear* those full *force* Hits!!! Switch Kicks sound like a *Baseball* *Ball!* Although it certainly deserved and thankfully had a crowd,, imagine getting to hear the Masvidal vs Askren Flying Knee *KO!!* It would make it *100%* more *Brutal* than it already is!!!
Some of these fights deserved to be in packed Arena's, the one's I would've wanted to see in particular are DC v Stipe 3, Stipe v Ngannou 2, Figueiredo v Moreno 1, Usman v Burns.. Adesanya v Jan would've also been a great fight live but I think looking at the ones which were the most exciting, these are definitely up there..
Khamzat better not take Burns lightly, Burns might shock some people on April 9th.
Burns got dropped by a jab, imagine what will happen when Khamzat hits him with a right hand
Nah borz easy
Aged like fine milk this one
What a performance by Aljamain Smollett
9:00 Peña starts to grin from 👂🏻 to 👂🏻
Bro this ufc in our time is the greatest our kids our going to look back on these and. Be like dam it’s soo much different
Lmao its still so funny to see dilbert gets chinned by a jab lol
Moreno VS Figgy was best of the lot!
Was just talking about Usman Burns fight earlier. Seems like no one ever talks about it. It's probably THE BEST title fight this era. Just a great fight period
The stakes are established from the very beginning with Burns wobbling Usman nearly knocking him down to get you attention and even more highlights come from there only from Usman after recovering to get a finish later on.
Probably the only fight I've seen from Usman that I really enjoy.
Probably one of my favorite fights ever. Probably one of the best fights to point to someone who isn't a fan.
Extremely huge stretch saying it’s the best title fight of this era 😂

that Tony vs Justin fight was the best ever
I wish Y'all had shown a bit more of the good work by Durinho against Usman, this was a champ coming back story, not a dominating title defense like the replay makes it look like imo.
Gilbert won the first 1.5 rounds, and Usman took over from there. I agree with you but they probably wanna promote the p4p king
@@VEMZOfficial oh for sure

7:38 gotta admit, this was the funniest sh*t I've ever seen in this sport
The way usman put away burns was SCARY, just rocked his shit and walked towards him like a lion stalking his prey before murdering him on the ground
That slight pause before he brings down his right hand gets me every time
GOD BLESS
The sound of those Usman punches...damn
I will miss the APEX for big fights. It was great being able to hear every shot landing instead of drunken bums screaming stupid shit.

7:41 yo look at Dana’s face 😂
lmao "She was gonna break her arm, Joe." while Rogan was saying how merciful Nunes was
I will always remember the time Daniel Cormier fought Stephen Wonderboy Thompson!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! @UFC check the markers on the video.
Loved the emptiness of the UFC Apex as bad as that sounds. It was more intimate and gave the audience a better idea of what these athletes really do
Valentina is a much more dominant fighter within her weightclass than nunes in hers imo
There is no competition in the featherweight division, that belt should’ve been stripped form nines a long time ago and the more important belt is the one she lost. Valentina is by far the more dominant and undisputed female 🐐
lost 2x to Amanda
8:36 Absolutely amazing how she set that armbar triangle up. This a LITERAL example of checkmate. Either go unconscious, I break your arm, or you take the easy route and tap. The greatest female fighter in the history of the sport.
untill ufc 269…
Until she decided to become a tomato can in the 2nd round of her fight against Juliana Peña
Not really, the fight was a mismatch from the get-go.
The size difference between Francis and Stipe was stunning
I would love to see a rematch between israel and Jan
people underrate burns too much man, guy almost finished usman
He is insane
Chiemaev is gonna kill him anyway
