    Because some people lack the attention span to watch the first 17 seconds of the video I am forced to state the obvious. This ISN'T real footage of the Titanic! The scenes have been composed from the games Honor & Glory and Titanic VR. At no point do I claim this to be real footage.

    What is more sad is the wreck of Titanic is disappearing quickly and doesn't have much time left. Over 100 years of bacteria eating organisms have eaten away at the iron ship. Scientists predict within the next 20-40 years the ship will finally collapse on itself and it will be a unrecognizable pile of rusted iron and disappear from the ocean floor.

    • @AmethystEyes
      @AmethystEyes 6 років тому +20

      Hotjoe it’s not just about integrity.
      It basically comes down to three factors:
      1.current forces
      2. Great amounts of pressure
      3. Bacteria eating away at the wreck.

      Trust me, they've brought up every part of that ship they could take and put it on displays in some museum event, they even took off a whole side of the ship and brought it up, they ain't stopping, they're gonna bring the whole ship up bit by bit to put on public display

    This is all beautiful, the Titanic sits down at the bottom of the ocean to serve as a reminder of human error that caused the deaths of nearly 1,500 souls. Should there have been more lifeboats, many more could be saved. But, because of this very disaster, laws regarding ships were changed and now there is safety for everybody and lifeboats for all. In my opinion, they should never raise the Titanic since it may damage the structure of the ship and it is a grave for almost 1,500 people. Beautiful video and R.I.P All those who lost their lives that fateful night.

    • @Scream1ngEaGLe7
      @Scream1ngEaGLe7 6 років тому +16

      I actually hold the opinion that more lifeboats would have cost more lives, because they didn't even have enough time to launch what she had. More boats would only add an extra step to launch them which would cost even more time. Sure, some boats could have been washed off, but looking at the lusitania sinking, they more than likely would have been destroyed beyond use. Just an unpopular opinion I hold

      1. Extremely overused and not original,
      2. Not the place to put this. This is a respectful video posted by Spammals and should be given every bit of respect in return. These were real people. And the last things on their minds in their life was whether or not the pool would still be filled.

      Just A guy here yes, and it'll be such revelation in the history of these ships. No one knows how much of the ship is furnished. Did it have a grand stare case? How much of it was built or decorated? It's 2018, we are going to space. And yet we don't know what's inside of an intact legendary shop just 400 feet below sea surface. That's a shame.
      P.s. Longer we wait, the harder it will be to recover the wreck.

    It’s really heart breaking 😭😭😭😭it was sooo beautiful that has been ruined by irresponsible crew and captain 👨‍✈️ Will Smith

    • @single_use_planet_
      @single_use_planet_ 5 років тому

      irresponsible crew and captain? really?
      there are so so many factors that played into this disaster, there should have never been only one person on the lookout, he was up there for hours without eyeglass to see far because the guy who had the key to the room where the eyeglasses were didn't show up.
      other ships kept telling the Titanic that all was well, the weather was great the coast was clear and there was nothing to worry about.
      the S.O.S. the Titanic sent out was supposedly ignored by a very closeby ship that could have saved a lot of people.
      There were actually more lifeboats than required on the ship.
      in the boiler room was a fire that had broken out, it burned for many days and as it turns out the iceberg hit right there where the metal was already weakened.
      Since the crew was told the coast was clear and everything was jolly they tried to hit not only the record for biggest ocean liner but also fastest since these ships, which there were 3 in total of, were known to be very slow in comparison to other ocean liners at the time, when the iceberg was finally sighted by this poor freezing tired man it was going way too fast for them to steer by, once it got hit it took the crew more than 2 hours to actually tell the people that the ship was sinking because the ship should have been able to handle this bit of water, badly enough the watertight doors were too big and not able to handle the pressure thus breaking and filling the body with more water.
      also, the guy you named, Will Smith, that's the one from men in black, the captain's name was Edward Smith.
      ships sink, this one just happened to be very big and in the wrong time.
      if it had happened now, there would obviously be enough lifeboats and nothing like this would have happened, different times are just that, different, mistakes give us the opportunity to learn, sadly, learning almost always hurts.
