Been to the Locks many times, it's a wonderful place to visit and experience Michigan, well worth the drive. Nice job on the video!
No pumps are needed to raise or lower the water in the locks. It is accomplished by opening or closing valves, and the water seeks its own level. (There are pumps so a lock could be emptied completely for maintenance.)
Good Job, Rosey, there is a Stream Time Live cam at the Soo, you can watch the ships all day and all night,,,till freeze up! The locks are cool!
