When my brother and I were kids our parents rented a helium tank to fill up a shit load of balloons for a birthday party. While they were out, my bro figured out how to suck helium straight from the tank and we did a couple times apiece. I went into the living room laughing my ass off only to turn around in time to see my bro coming up the hallway, high as a helium balloon, laughing hysterically at our voices, and falling face first into the floor hitting his head on the heating vent! I ran to his side, absolutely dying from laughter, and we both rolled in the floor laughing for like ten minutes. When my parents found out they were so mad because we had apparently huffed enough helium to cause him to loose conciseness! As I type this I realize the severity of the situation but looking back I don’t think I ever laughed that much in my life! Love the pod casts guys, keep inspiring!
Bruh this happened to me at a town fair when I was 14 I though someone run up and knocked me out I got up and kept going “WHO HIT ME”
We used to have nitrous tanks like the dentist use. Wow called it hippy crack.
When my mom passed away I inherited her car. Given it wasn't the coolest car (2013 kia optima) I still put wheels on it slammed it ect. Did a few cheesey mods but this car will be with me for life. I love it now and I know she would like it as well. Kinda like building a Chevy Cruze and modifying it is pointless but like my situation it has sentimental value to me and I put my own twist on it.

Heads up, the fake Lambo might get moldy really fast once it gets above freezing. Seeps into all the seals and inside then interior can get moisture
I agree with Ben 100% , eventually people level up but at such a young age doing little stuff to your car by yourself means more to them than how it looks

I have my scuba diving certification, there are two courses you have to take. One gets you certified up to 60 feet deep, the other is up to 130, anything more has to be done by a professional. Super fun though, took my certification dive in Lake Superior in October when the water was 45°
i live on lake superior, its very cold. i cant even imagine diving past 20ft its feels like its frozen just at 20ft

them talking about going fast on a lake brought ptsd to me from a few years back when i hit 90 on a turbo sled i had and hit a bump and flew probably 30 feet and luckily the sled went to the left when i went to the right
Don’t be hating on Chevy Cruze I got mine as a first car at 16, I’m 24 now. It’s manual I still got it with 130k miles and it’s killin it to get my to point A>B. No mods just a sub that smashes😂😂 you guys are awesome tho

As a pilot and plane owner I hope Ben gets his pilots license...And is safe about it. I like to do all sorts of craziness on sleds and bikes and such but aviation is something to be serious about. If you can do 2000 feet of gravel runway and another couple hundred feet clear of trees you can get in and out with most small aircraft. Dirtwork Mike can build it.
Appreciate Ben's stance on this. Make the car how you like it. Do not worry about what others think. If it makes you happy, that's what matters.
There’s a bunch of lakes that have entire towns underneath caused by damming. Beaver lake in Arkansas is a super clear lake that a lot of people will dive in the summer

It's helium Mike, and I have transition glasses and they are sick. Yall should try to get whistling on the pod cast that would be sick.
I understand cj 100%. On my first truck I cheaped out on headlights, grill, rock lights, stuff like that and it lasts for like a year, light bars in the grill have there coating chipping off, grill faded and cracked and I repainted it and then it physically cracked twice. Headlights have the tinting fading and chipped, rock lights don’t shut off all the way with the Bluetooth controller and two pods went out. On my new truck everything is going to be the nice parts, morimoto lighting products, BAJA designs light bars. Stuff like that.
Drain all fluids from the ranger. Attach a chain to front axle and leave that on the shore so you can pull it out. They do it every year in okoboji I believe

There is a snowmobile race in wasau WI on the 5 called the nuter vill beater cross, you could race the to older snowmobiles, they also have a facebook page
Tri-State Diving right in DL, they recover vehicles that fall through the ice all the time.
There is actually a town more north in Minnesota called Gilbert where they put a car on a pond and have a raffle for people to guess when it’s gonna fall through
The police department from the town over from me has a raffle every year where people can bet on the day an old decommissioned cop car (without the motor) falls through, they got it all approved with the DNR (Wisconsin). They just had to completely flush the car of all of the fluids

Ben should get a paramotor! No pilot license or anything needed. Obviously it would be wise to get trianing by someone with experience but it would make absolutely killer content while eventually getting his pilots license.

I just saw Micahs old red Cherokee on Facebook marketplace. Still had the chopped bumper in the front to turn the wheels and it has like 238k miles and a sticker bombed dash
I am laughing so hard because when I was 16 I had a 2005 Honda Civic coupe and I totally went through the faze of “ricing” it out but it was different cause I knew it was stupid and also funny… so I ran with it. I had no money but I put the biggest wing I could find I cut the exhaust off it and piped it and I put the must ridiculous stickers all over it and even a Brazzers sticker on the front windshield. But the point of this comment is I knew it was stupid but I promise you guys every morning I went out too start the car I just laughed and had the best time of my life driving around and seeing all the young kids in the school buses filming and pointing at the car and me just shaking my head laughing cause I knew it was literally a meme and it made feel so much better driving a shit box.
You guys could definitely find some cool history on that property. Dig up the outhouse hole for old bottle and metal detect for trash dumps and coins and such

The thing is you have to make the mistake to understand. When I was 16 I had a V6 Mustang and put dual exhaust on it, put a GT badge on there, had subs, KN cold air intake . I was so proud of it though and it looked good but I was trying to make a V6 a V8. We’ve all been there!
I live in Mississippi and see at least 1 squatted truck a day. I guess it’s more of a southern thing.

You guys were all right on the modding cars aspect, I’m only 22 and the handful of cars I’ve owned which have all been something cool, mustang trucks Jeeps, I did all of the really cheap shitty mods on them and then when I bought a newer grand Cherokee and a newer truck I kind of started to take CJ’s aspect of like I don’t wanna plastidip anything on my 2013 duramax because it’s so much more expensive than my other cars and like kinda up at the next level

I had a buddy that could make Plasti dip look like paint. It took 7 or so layers and a clear coat but looked good.

I own a 2003 tacoma and I have about a 4.5 inch squat on it. In my preference it looks good it adds a little aggressive look and I can see fine, now when you squat it 9-12 inches it becomes a problem.

Mike needs to look up adventures with a purpose or chaos divers or exploring with big or any of those people. They travel the country looking for missing persons that might be in the bottom of a lake or pond or river. Very neat and cool people. They also need more support anyway
I currently have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is loud. Mine is different though because it has the 5.9l V8 so it sounds insane. If you have the inline 6, DO NOT MAKE IT LOUD.

I did my private pilots license in 3 months flying about an hour 4-5 times a week when I was 19. 100% recommend doing it

When I was growing up as a kid in the city. I had a neighbor who had a 2003 VW Golf GTI that he rattle canned the whole car army green and cut the exhaust off. To this day I immediately think of that guy when I see terrible car mods

Ghost of kree-ev ( that’s how u pronounce it ) is real but the footage we saw comes from a video game from 2013
So I kinda had the same experience as CJ but I flew in the air. When h was like 8 maybe 9 I had the like three year old Polaris I think it was like a 200 or something four wheeler and me and my dad were racing and he was winning because obviously his four wheeler was bigger, but we were each in a different side of the row of storage units he owned and the snow was melted but not fully melted like the ice and everything was still hard and I hit a wall form where the plow pushed the snow off to the side and I hit it and the four wheeler went flying. ( not sure if it’s true but my dad said from what he saw of me in the air he said I was a good 8 9 feet up in the air) I flew off the four wheeler and landed on by back on this big dirt pile that’s as rock solid and had the wind nicked out of me to the point where I couldn’t breather for a good 30 seconds. After that I never really drove that fast for about a month then I started driving faster again and since then I’ve broke my arm twice and my wrist 3 times.
I liked this podcast. CJ everybody can do to their vehicle what they want because they own it and not everybody has a ton of money to spent on it but want to be different then the rest you know... My first car was a Mazda 323 sedan with a race bike end muffler blue wheels and the numbers 21 on the doors and a race airfilter I loved that car and didn't care what the rest would think of it because it was my car.
