WOW ! Even by Muskoka standards this property is OFF THE CHARTS! I'm trying to imagine who would drop $25 Million on a vacation "cottage" (as they are called in Muskoka) . Got to be Billionaire level to buy a property like this that you will only use a few weeks of the year - mostly in Summer of course but even a few weeks in the magical Spring, Fall and Winter. Luckily Muskoka has an airport nearby that can accommodate the largest private jets - just ask Tom Hanks , Steven Spielberg, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell along with a slew of other Hollywood and Sports celebrities who spend summers vacationing in Muskoka. There is a reason why Muskoka has been dubbed "Malibu North" .

I don't know the Canadain way how they talk about units and places. In the USA # this means a apartment unit all they are showing not the whole complex.
You don't really need them. The bears won't bother you much if you don't leave out food. As for the wolves they pretty much want nothing to do with humans.
I live in muskoka, I am speaking of black and brown bears...those that are native to the muskoka region. They really only become an issue if they are conditioned to associate food with humans.
I hate it when people decimate the landscape like that by blasting the granite outcroppings (be creative and work with the landscape, rather than against it), logging massive swaths of forest to build pools (when there is a large lake just feet away), recreational courts, asphalt driveways, and other hard-scaping that detracts from the organic atmosphere of a lake setting. Building in such an urban-minded way is insensitive to the delicate, rugged features of the natural environment. Moreoever, these super-modern structures and their excessive, overwrought amenities clash terribly with the tranquility of nature.

The cottage itself would be so much maintenance. Cobwebs, bee nests, carpenter bees. It’s too much maintenance. Then the pool, there’s no fence, so the dogs and wildlife, will be swimming in it. Not to mention how often you’d have to clean that pool would be insane. The kids could trip and fall in. The inside and property is beautiful. But again I cannot see past all the hassle for maintaining its cleanliness. Not worth the money
What annoying music. It’s big , I like the fact it has a-lot of windows but it’s not my style. It’s actually quite ugly in some respect. Not worth $25M.
Lame. It's like a Toronto shopping centre has been dropped into Muskoka. Shiny decor doesn't really suit the landscape, feels pretty incongruent. Nice location though.
1. The music is awful. 2. This city house dropped into a wilderness area has no relationship to the surroundings. 3. The choice of marble and other finishings is awful. While I appreciate the breathtaking location, architecture, and build quality, it is disharmonious with the natural setting, which makes this a non-starter.
$25 Million for this? GTFO!! For that kind of money you better have an hour long documentary with David Suzuki telling me about how this house is on the cutting edge of technology and it save the world from ecological disaster if all future homes are modeled after it.
I must say out off all the ugly million dollar homes we plumb this home is well detailed and appointed with fixtures, colour scheme and craftsmanship… This is not just another ugly overgrown home..
