I agree. I wish every salesperson considering making a walk-through video would watch this. So many RV videos make you seasick and give you that surreal fish-eye lens feeling. I know you need a wide-angle lens to record interior views, but there's a way of doing it, and these guys know how to do it! Nice job.

That compartment was something I hadn't seen from anyone else. It's nice to still be surprised with new good ideas.

Wow you can really tell that Grand Design is reading all of their customers reviews concerns and advice and opinions I'm so proud to be a grand design owner and I look forward to buying a fifth wheel down the road I love my 2800 imagine is perfect for a family looking for a bumper pull. My solitude (2014) is a piece of crap . The first 6mo about everything stopped working and the my back wall slid right off ,the main welds broke .there is no pride in workmanship. Any more ..
Well presented video. I very much appreciate the quality and attention to detail of the Solitude, but will likely go with a Montana 3931 FB simply because of the storage. The Montana has two pantrys, and a coffee bar up front, cabinets over the theater seating, and more closets in the lower half bath, and vanities over the upper bath, as well as floor to ceiling cabinets in both the bedroom and master bath. There's also a mirrored hanging closet in the bedroom as well. May seem like overkill.....but the old saying is true.....you NEVER have enough storage. The Solitude definitely has some advantages however. I love that the floor vents are out of sight, and the little extras like the fireplace trim, and frosted glass over the half bath are quality touches.
I agree with you about storage. You can always use a little bit more.
That cameraman/presenter duo are the standard. I’ve seen other nicer 5th wheels, but this guy could sell you anything that’s for damn sure.

wow totally awesome 5th wheel, we did see some at the Toronto RV show. tons above any other make for quality workmanship etc, we bought a 2017 Ram 3500, but a single wheel, do you really need a dual wheel for this rig. the weights are within our truck to be legal. ????
As long as you are within the payload limits of the bed and the towing capacity of the truck. Nice truck by the way.
A SRW may have adequate capacity, but you have to pay attention to payload capacity, which must not be less than the hitch weight + cargo in the truck + weight of passangers, etc. Either way, the towing experience will be much better and safer with a dually when towing a trailer like these. A dually will be much more stable in cross winds and when a tractor trailer passes.
Great unit, except that hidden storage under the tv, now everyone knows about it, lol. When will GD move to whisper quiet a/c in the bedroom??????

I sold a rig with Swintek slides. Total junk, could not keep them from braking. Every forum on grand design has owners saying rigs are also problematic. Fit and finish inside looks nice, but outside looks thrown together. I bought a Cardinal RV. Well made coach! Forest River makes nice products!
Also would not buy a rig without all rack and pinion slides 2” rams, very durable! Some rigs use cable slides, (wow, more issues that I wouldn’t deal with!)
I hated forest river…nothing but problems. Guess it depends on what you end up with.

It’s a RV not a house.
I'd rather have a couch in my bedroom to sit for a while before heading to the kitchen and a coffee corner like at the Luxery Hotels Suite.

Grand Design interiors are of good craftsmanship but the slides and exterior are less quality than a Jayco. Also You see a lot of Heartland design because they copy Heartland in a lot of their floor plans. Your paying for the name people. If you look at a Heartland Bighorn you will see a lot of the same name brand materials used in both. Heartland put more into their slides and exterior than Grand design and that’s a fact. Don’t get caught up in their fancy presentation and not do your homework and read other owners complaints
Your crappy shelves are falling apart on my solitude. Poor design throughout.
