The most likely reason they're limiting passes is because they're an AR company and not a game company, they want people outside so they can get geophysical data that they can sell which limiting remote passes would in their theory make more players do more irl raids which means they have more data they can sell, i can't imagine it makes more money than remote raiding tho
You act like an AR company's goal is not to make money. 😂 if they are an augmented reality company, they are doing a terrible job. Augmented reality is the least fleshed out part of this entire application.
Your argument also makes zero sense because remote raids do not keep people from having to go outside. It only allows remote access to rates, which is an extremely small part of the game. People still have to go outside for everything else. you act as if people could just stay home and use remote raids and actually play this game and make real progress. Your arguments were so bad it's actually embarrassing.
You can't hatch eggs from home, you can't catch wild Pokémon from home, you can't do community day at home, there's literally nothing we can do from home except remote rates. You also seem to not understand that lots of people who do remote raids, do them, while they are also out and about playing the game. 95% of the UA-cam videos you watch while people are remote reading, they are walking around outside while they do it. So your argument has absolutely no basis in reality.

A good majority of players do not have the community to raid with, have no gyms in their town or have very few gyms. And if they have a gym, chances are there isn’t enough people to gather (7 years later) for them to beat the raid. Niantic has always looked the other way when it comes to rural or suburb players.
Finally, just got my first shiny this go round. It was a 96% so that was awesome! I think it took about 30 or so to get it, but I did get back to back Hundo’s on raid hour for it!

When remote raid passes came out, there were obviously limitations to them.
You can hold only three at a time
Only 5 players can join a raid using one.
The damage you deal is reduced vs non remote raiding.
More recently, RRPS became "nerfed" during community days. You can raid a gym after the com day ends and it'll spawn tons of those specific pokemon around you for 30 minutes. Only if you raid in person. No RRPS allowed.

I had pretty good luck as well, my second raid. But I didn't catch or hatch a single shiny today so not too good luck. Oh and my two shinys yesterday was the Ray and the Seviper. Two snakes.

It took me 9 raids to get a shiny Rayquaza. One of my coworkers did about 40 raids and no shiny, so I’m planning to trade it to them.

Maybe everyone is thinking wrong, niantic is planning to allow more than one raid on a single remote raid pass
Because niantic wants everyone to get up and go which is part of their mission statement. However, it’s been seven years and a pandemic. They need to revisit their mission statement and make it more accurate to gameplay.
I believe im at 30+ rayquaza raids total and no shiny. I did however get a hundo yesterday, not complaining about that.

I did so many Rayquaza raids and got 0 Shinies and the best IV was 89, I feel like the shiny odds aren’t 1/20
Next time you do a shiny transfer challenge you should guess how many raids it will take you to get a shiny before you do them. For example transfer 10 shinys and then do 10 and hope you get a shiny and if not you have to transfer a really good shiny you have.

Took me 38 tries to get my first shiny Rayquaza then I ended up getting a second one BACK TO BACK! That totally killed all my luck for shiny primals this weekend
I love rayquaza! My fist ever legendary raid was rayquaza (I did it like 2 days ago) and it was shiny! I did another raid with friends but it was shiny- still cool though! My friends ran though. I hope they don't limit the amount of remote raid passes it would be so annoying!
Don't think they're going to limit remote raids, it makes no sense since it makes them so much money and there doesn't seem to be any downsides of letting people raid as much as they want. My guess is that it was just a software glitch that got pushed.

Mega Rayquaza will be far stronger than 5700 cp due to those stats having the 9% nerf, originally the primals were estimated to be 5900 with the 9% nerf. Seeing as we now have the primals at 6600 cp the 9% nerf is clearly not applied to a legendaries mega/primal. So I estimate Mega Ray to be somewhere above 6k probably around 6300 or if you want to use go hub stats it'll br 6800.
When rayquaisa was in raids 2 years ago i got the shiny on my sixth raid😂that was crazy!
I feel so bad for Mystic and all those shinies because I got my shiny Rayquaza on my second raid. Sadly the first raid I couldn't catch it but plus side was my very first Rayquaza was a shiny
Yeah for some reason the raid shiny chances are too high.
I swear if they effing change how the pass's work I might just give up on the game. I am like many who live in a very rural area, and even in the winter it can be 85-90f+ outside... so much of the time I do NOT want to be out walking around. The only pokestop near me, is a half hour walk to a park that's a homeless camp. (nothing against homeless, I was once homeless myself, not fun) but it does feel a bit unsafe to hang for a SINGLE stop.
The nearest gym is an HOUR bus ride away (medically cant drive) that goes into a small town where I go to buy food and things. One gym, and two poke stops along the way that the bus is often going to fast for to spin, and no I will not get off as I'd have to wait an hour for the next to come again.
To even reach a more populated location, I'd have to bus hop for FIVE HOURS to get into the city (this includes wait times for bus's that only come once an hour) . That I then might be able to chill for an hour before I would have to return to make it back before the bus's stop running in my local area, around 5pm. So that's 10ish hours bus hopping for an hour some of play... and really I still have a pokemon in a gym in town that's been there for.... a month? Sense last time I had to uber out there for a doc appointment. So yeah, no one really plays, so joining raids even in the city? Ha... yeah.. no... and I cant afford to wander too far to reach what few gyms there are as well, Id need to be able to get back on the bus to make it back home. And no I will not uber everywhere, that's a LOT just one way due to it being an hour and a half drive.
Pretty much my ONLY option is to remote raid... if they change it then what is the point for us? Bad enough I can only run into the small handful of wild encounters, can only get pokeballs from doing the research, story stuff, friend gifts that I need to use a website to share friend codes to get gifts, less I keep wanting to toss out cash for balls...I much rather get the remote pass's to get some good stuff remote raiding then wasting it on pokeballs for the random occasional stuff around here that just gets transferred anyways.
Sorry for the rant but every time I hear of these changes it just annoys me so badly. Like they assume all players live in big populated cities and then punish those who end up being in the middle of nowhere... and if anyone says 'well just move!' would YOU move for a PHONE GAME? I've had someone tell me that and yeah sure, let me just pay to uproot my life and move somewhere well out of my budget to play a darn GAME. Makes sooo much sense!
I managed to get 7 shiny Rayquaza in 24 hours … never experienced luck like this before, I’ve done 73 raids across multiple years so this was insane!

From what I saw n read over last weekend, They are going to limit it to 6 raid per day starting 3/1. And raise the cost of remote raid passes too Which is oddly enough my birthday. Imo, I don't think it will last long, They will get a ton of backlash. I give it a week or 2 before they change it back.
I hate the shiny odds with raids, I did 20-40 raids on Rayquaza, most of the poke coins where saved up over a long period of time, but I did spend some money on it. But I never got a shiny, and Shiny rayquaza is probably my most favorite shiny in all of the Pokémon franchise

Great vid been watching you since 2016 and started my pokemon go journey around the same time as you I was doing rayquaza raids and got 2 shiny in 21 raids and I got a shiny Latinos on my 2nd attempt the best day of pokemon go I have had next to December community day playing with my mom :)
I only had to do one raid, cuz I only have 2 or 3 remote raid passes and needed coins, and the first one I got was shiny and it also was my first rayquaza ever!

Next season will be Shiny Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini debut and continues debut any pokemon from alolan pokemon especially not yet introduced in pokemon go.
I wasn’t able to raid when rayquaza first dropped and when it dropped during the season of legends event I didn’t catch it. I did about 90 raids in 2 days and legit on my last remote raid pass I caught a SHUNDO!! 🔥
What the raid nerf is going to do is make people either bring out their alt accounts that they haven’t touched in a while or make people make alt accounts so they can have more daily raids. Those caught can easily be transferred to their main account.

I completely understand the dissatisfaction of limited remote raids if they indeed implement that. I don't really use them at all myself, but I know people who do. The biggest issue for me personally is that it killed the small community I was a part of. I know it's been making them even more money, which they like, I'm sure, but being out and exploring is their vision of how the game is meant to be played. That's my opinion on both sides of the topic, and ultimately, you don't have to play a game you may no longer enjoy. Thank you. ✌️
If every legendary is here for 7 days, and you can do 5 remotes per day you still would be able to do 35 remote raids per legendary though.
I love your videos even tho deleting shinies hurts me inside even though I know when you play as much as you do, you have to make room in inventory by deleting them
