@@thetruthhurts7675 One of the biggest yet but for most of the years 1990-2015 we were not a top team. 13/14 came a bit out of nowhere then we regressed. Klopp re-established us as one of the top teams.

I literally became a diehard Liverpool fan because of this guy. That Barcelona game was one of the best games I ever watched in my 40+ years. When Ramos wrestled Salah to the ground in that final I got so mad. Three champions league finals. Salah + Mane + Firmino ... do I have to say more? The best 9 years to be a Liverpool fan. I am so glad that I am a Red… in my 54 years of following this club , there have been so many highs and lows… so many great managers and players…
Jurgen is one of the greatest… up there alongside Shankly, Paisley, Dalglish and Benitez.. I will miss him and wish him and his family well for the future.
So on to the next one… the next season, the next Manager and squad and style of play and just more opportunities to love the Team I have supported all my life.

As a long time Manchester United fan what this guy has done is incredible took a Liverpool team that hadn’t won a title in 30 years and a champions league since 2005 and got them to 3 champions league finals in 5 years and went down to wire twice with 92 and 97 points wich is still crazy to think they never won the league with that many lol agaisnt with a team with 115 charges but mainly delivered the first title in 30 years even tho I can’t stand Liverpool I feel sorry for the Liverpool fans as it reminds me of when Ferguson left anyways city are the real enemy 115 charges robbing teams of titles without them the world would be a better place

The "only 1PL brigade" ignore the context of what he was up against and don't understand that he means more to us than trophies. Danke Jurgen! I think being a coach who is so human, humble and hilarious with banter from the very start is part of why fans around the world took you to heart. "The Normal One" but there are so many compilations of funny Klopp moments that are so endearing. Understanding the passion of the fans and sharing in that rather than feeling distanced and with an ego just because of a job at an EPL club. There was definitely a connection with the fans, the city and of course the fabulous players of course. You can see in their celebrations and hugs being shared that the dynamic is more fatherly than boss and employee. Thank you so much for the last 9 years. It really hit me today…like a lightbulb lighting up above my head….why I will miss him so much. He’s like Bob Ross and Mr. Rogers. He always had these little nuggets in every interview and press conference. Little life lessons. He wasn’t just a coach. He was a life teacher to anyone that would listen.
