    49:44 hmm, why did you both come to conclusion that doing nothing for a parent is better? Its as if both of you disconnected from some sense making machine due to a software glitch haha. Any reasonable and attentive parent will see if whatever they trying to project lands or not. When it doesn’t - they will change their agenda/support to something more aligned with the kid’s natural tendencies. So there is no way to conclude from the above that parents should not put effort in helping their kids.

      Agreed. Just because there is a perceived similar probability of conductive v.s. resistant response to parental effort doesn't mean that zero effort is optimal. It just means that you don't know enough about the factors in resistance to parental effort.
      I went to school with some of the wealthiest and most intelligent kids in America and grew up with these kids. And it is absolutely obvious to me that parental effort plays a huge role you just need to do it in a way that is not mostly negative reinforcement.
