What made the 80s great was the hope of the period. While there was a darker side to the time, everyone saw what could be; video tapes, CDs, computers - they were all new and people just felt things would only get better. I miss that feeling.

Makes me wanna go back in time. 80's - best period I was lucky to witness. Being born in 1980 gives a very different perspective looking at the world we see today. 80's were simply better times and Miami Vice show contributed to that on its own. Thank you Sir George for reminding what we are missing today.

You are obviously not from Miami. South Beach was a no go for many years. Watch Miami Vice and you'll actually see the redevelopment happen. SoBe was full of derelict hotels inhabited by the elderly and impoverished, sand loving Bohemes and the newly minted Hispanic Immigrant Drug Dealers, and scores of the ladies of the evening. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it wasn't paradise.

Hey which Vice episode is that? I'm trying to figure out what car Crockett is driving when Tubbs is driving the speedboat. I don't remember him ever driving something besides the Daytona or the Testarossa lol
Funnily enough, it was from the first and second episode (two parter) haha. I believe they started driving the Testarossa in season 2.
Oh I forgot to mention the car he uses., It is a 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. def good looking
