    Great video, but it's too fast. Would be great to have a walk through of someone using the app and showing us the features one by one. There is a lot of information crammed in here. Big fan so far though!

    I have tried time and time again, and I'm about ready to pull my hair out. Is it just me, or does the preview button in the app in timelapse mode, do nothing? I have been waiting months for a fix and nothing has happened. One of the major reasons I bought this was to preview the timelapse 'speed' and not guess anymore.
    If it's 240 frames, at 24 fps, the preview should move from pose 1 to 2 in 10 seconds. I have it set to move 6 inches. It does it in 4 seconds, not 10.
    Is the preview button broken?

    Hi, I’ve just downloaded the app to use with a rented Edelkrone Slider V2. When I go to Timelapse and change the settings to what I want and click start the settings go back to default. Is there any fix for this? Thanks

    How much of an incline can you use the SliderPlus long model? How heavy a load will it operate at on a 45 degree incline? Will it work vertically, or is it limited to just level movement? Does it 'move-shoot-move' in timelapse mode?

    • @edelkrone.official
      @edelkrone.official 4 роки тому

      Hi Joe, SliderPLUS can only be used vertically while using SliderPLUS manually with Steady Module. SliderPLUS cannot be used for incline or vertical shots while Slide Module v2 is being used for motorized slides. Best, -Asude

    Hello, is there any option to set only a customized slider movement interval with the slider one v2 without using the time lapse function? I'd use the internal camera time-lapse feature, that works very good in my sony A7R3.

    • @edelkrone.official
      @edelkrone.official 4 роки тому +1

      Hi Simone, internal Time-Lapse mode of cameras is not compatible with edelkrone products, please use your camera in the Manual mode with single shooting option to shoot photo Time-Lapse. On the other hand, there is not a special mode for video Time-Lapse. You may simply pull speed to 1% and Ease In/Out all the way towards blue side to achieve the slowest continuous speed of the setup. Once you start a video record manually, you may let the system move at its slowest speed for video Time-Lapse. Best, -Asude

      Hello, I found the way to obtain whay I need. I have just set the time lapse by the app and I have set the camera with his own intervallometer without plugging in the cable, but with the same parameters in app and in camera ( just few seconds more in the app to allow to increase the shooting time in the day/night transition). And this method also works great. Tks

    Hello. I just bought the headONE for panning my timelapse. I used the cameras own intervalometer to fire the shots. However, when I rendered the final video, it was shaky and blurry. When using the edelkrone app to fire the shots, does it stop movement while taking the shot and then do the movement (pan in my case) during the interval period? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Darren :)

      The way I set this up for my shot, no, headOne did not know. However, I am now assuming that if I connect the cable and allow the app to become the intervalometer, it will perhaps stop motion while the shutter is open??

      Hi@@DN-lifestoriescaptured , as long as you use the timelapse feature on edelkrone App as an intervalometer, you won't be having such issues. But, your feedback has been shared with our R&D dept. Best, Asude

    Guys when I set a static interval, motion timelapse I'm noticing that the motion doesn;t begin straight away. It sort of eases in and out. Is it possible for the motion to begin right away. There always seems to be a bit of a pause at the start and end of the timelapse.

    • @edelkrone.official
      @edelkrone.official 4 роки тому +1

      Hi! There is a default Ease In/Out which is for ensuring the motion in the final Time-Lapse video is seen as a regular slide motion to make viewer feel more natural about the motion. However, if you are willing to remove this, you may enable Ramping in the Time-Lapse mode and pull all cursors all the way up to make system move without this default Ease In/Out. Regards, -Alper.

      @@edelkrone.official There should be a toggle to turn on/off ease in/out in the timelapse section. Right?

  • @skymakai
    @skymakai Рік тому

    Only issues I've had with the timelapse feature is that the slider movement starts and stops too quickly, shaking the whole slider setup and tripod. It would be nice if the movement was more smooth, without a jarring start/stop, so timelapses with shorter intervals wouldn't shake the entire setup. And, the ease in/out for video affects timelapse, which isn't a setting in the timelapse section of the app. That's confusing.

    I bought one slider and very disappointed. I have a Canon EOS R camera; I connected it via the C1 Shutter Release Cable and tried to make time-lapses and was very very disappointed. There is only the opportunity to take separate frames and then combine it into a separate video in a video editor, it is very long and inconvenient and the camera deteriorates (there is a resource for 200,000 shutter release). Canon EOS R is a modern camera and there is a time-lapse function in which the shutter does not work with every frame and just compressed video is made and as a result I get the finished video and do not damage the camera shutter! For example, I do this when connecting via cable to Ziyun Crane 2 and everything works fine. I was also disappointed that I can not start the video with the river button through the edelkron application. I thought that all these problems are due to the Jack 2.5 to Jack 2.5 cable interface and if I connected my camera through Jack 2.5 to the USB, it could have worked differently. My question is: if I connect the camera to the slider via Jack 2.5 on USB C, for example, Camera Control Cable for DJI Ronin-SC Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer RSS-P Control Cable or just buy a Jack 2.5 adapter on USB C, will there be a record button and an intelligent timelapse ( shooting a compressed video as implemented in the camera)

    Hello Moshe,
    Thank you for reaching out to us!
    I do apologize that using built-in Time-Lapse feature of your camera is not available with edelkrone products currently. I am sorry that feature is not compatible with edelkrone products, please use your camera in the Manual mode with single shooting option. There is not an alternative method to make it work either.
    On the other hand, Record button is for activating the Record feature. In order to clarify, while using Record feature, system does not send signal your camera to start a video record. Please see the link below for the user manual video of the Record feature.

    However, I would be more than happy to forward your experience with our R&D Team to be considered for further developments.
    Please do not hesitate to reach back out if you have any further questions.
    Thank you for choosing edelkrone.
    Kind regards,
    Alper | Product Support Engineer | Head of Technical Support
    What is it? The slider which is praised by all English-speaking bloggers and which costs $ 500 cannot launch a normal time-lapse that does not spoil the camera shutter (200 time-laps of 1000 photos and a camera shutter to the trash). I am very disappointed and do not recommend buying. In most jimbolas, the intelligent time-lapse function is implemented normally (captures compressed video and does not spoil your shutter.)
