I think Yotha wasn’t actually angry at his mother, he was angry at her on Faifa’s behalf. So when Faifa said he was okay, even though he visibly wasn’t, he decided to let the matter go. I suspect she still is his favourite parent

Yotha is very sensitive to Faifa and from one of the episodes when they were talking about how Faifa went back to living with them after their mom formed her new relationship, it seems like Yotha saw how dejected Faifa was and got more angry towards their mom over Faifa’s treatment than the mom’s abandonment.

Exactly, he was just used as a tool! The mom really got on my nerves, and they showed us that scene like that would justify yotha's trauma, bruh, give us a damn moment. Every time the mom was shown, besides yotha faifah was also uncomfortable he felt like he was coming in between yotha and his mother. Poor faifah

I cried so hard I had to remove my glasses and blow my nose. Literally couldn’t breathe. The way GMMTV builds hardened characters and breaks down their walls is truly remarkable, and I never get sick of it. So many parallels to my own life, but my mom died before we could truly have a moment like this. I started this show not anticipating Last Twilight levels of emotional breakdowns but here we are.

However I don't think I can forgive the mother that easily, both Yotha and Faifa were hurt due to her decisions, but only Yotha's pain is visible to everyone as Faifa is the "happy-go-lucky" person compared to Yotha.

The scene where Yotha and his mom hug while faifa was crying in the background really hit home for me. I dont know when I last cried watching a series like this. I'm also the youngest while being the middle in cousins and I relate to fai's pain so much.
Whatever her reason was , Yotha shouldn't have forgive her... I wouldn't forgive her...who the hell differentiate their own children..whoever she was close to buy her own children, how can she use Fai for her selfish reason knowing he won't be happy apart from his father and brothers... The mother is a psycho freak!! She literally admitted she'd be happier with Yotha and would have forgotten the others, insanity. Crying for Faifa during GunYotha season was not on my bingo card.
* Mom just accepted she would've been too happy if it were just her and Yotha.
* She knew Faifa loved his dad and brothers and hurt him deeply by taking him away. (like a hostage)
* After finding a great new family she just abandons him / releases him
* Even when they were together she never cared to be a good mother...like how wouldn't she knew the only child she took away was allergic to cow milk
* After all these years she's just desperate to make up with her favourite son
* She knew Yotha and loved her the most and was hurt worst that's the only part she felt guilty
* what she made Faifa go through was hell and yet haven't realised it.
* Boy is still suffering from lonliness the unspoken trauma
* Atleast she could've phrased her reasons better..." Because Faifa was younger, or if it were Yotha and her they wouldn't be back and Yotha wouldn't be having his brothers and dad in his life.." etc...
Yotha got relief from the trauma but at the cost of reinforcing Fai's trauma.
