I def would not have went for 304 without seeing it paired with Nightmoth lip liner... That was a great idea. My favorite shade is 306 (coral red). I also like 305 (orange surge). Mostly, I shop at Sephora; Occasionally Ulta or Macy's.
YSL's lip sticks have always given me break outs in the past. Chemical smelling, terrible skinfeel. So-so pigmentation, etc. If they're changing their tune, I applaud them for that! But I really don't recommend anyone buy from this brand. Every time I reported an issue with their products, they insisted it was somehow my fault and refused to offer a refund or even re-ship a product in the event it was a one-off mistake. Imagine spending 40 dollars on a lipstick that gave you a rash and being told "yeah, no, our formula is perfect. You're just a weirdo with bad skin, we're keeping your money!". Such behavior isn't unheard of with these overpriced luxury brands that make most of their money from fragrance products, though.
@@Ohemaa I ended up regifting the products to friends who didn't have bad reactions to YSL's formulas, so it wasn't the complete end of the world. I'm just forever scorned. These new slims look fabulous on you though, I'm glad they didn't give you any issue!
GOODNESS! We should not choose these shades by the name nor color that we see on the selling page. You were awesome to swatch these to give an ‘idea of’. I don’t think there as black girl friendly. Maybe 3-4 out of the bunch. What does work is the consistency and pigmentation. Also the fact that you wouldn’t have to fight, tug and/or dry and damage the skin on the lips to remove. THE REDS ARE GORG!

My favorite shade in this YSL Slim Velvet Radical lipstick is #21 Rouge Paradox. All of them are so Pretty, vibrant, and pigmented.
