This is a Marlin SL100G. It's a cheap Stratocaster copy from about 1980, and it was my first ever guitar. I'm going to bring it back to life. www.longcatmedia.com
Don't think your guitar is made of actual wood, mate... reminds me of my 1st bass, it's made of plywood which makes it resonate AMAAZINGLY unplugged. If the trussrod wasn't fked I'd definitely bring it back to life; everyone needs a P/J bass in their lives
I recently started getting nostalgic and regretted selling my first guitar. It was an Ibanez RG350M. It was an ugly yellow color with a maple fretboard. Should've just kept it and repainted it and stained the fretboard
@@longcatmedia agreed, now days I can record things perfectly clean and crisp but I miss the raw energy and messy sound of my practice amp being recorded in my closet haha

Yeah, I understand. There’s an instinct to “level up” all the time, but sometimes it’s worth hanging on to things!
