- In this video I finally touch on and explain what happened to my 2018 Audi TTRS and dive deeper into it. I mention how it happened and when it happened as well as what I was doing when it went wrong. My TTRS began to experience misfires, hesitation, a loud ticking noise on acceleration, & more.

I keep bouncing between a 19' TTRS and a 15/16 GTR. Such a tough decision. Been watching your videos and the TTRS vs the GTR video has me thinking even more haha
TTRS is less money to buy and less money to mod. It is also much lighter with a more modern interior. They are also rarer and have direct and port injection so can get a stage 1 E85 tune on stock fuel system and many other pluses. The GTR is still an amazing car though. Truly depends on your needs and wants.
@@WatchAlexLP I'll be honest, I pulled the trigger on the GTR. I got a decent deal (especially considering this market) on an 18'. It has been a dream of mine forever to get one. I do love it so far haha
Do you Unitronic MPI Injector Upgrade Kit or stock injectors?
I run E85 so yes I have the Unitronic MPI.
I have a brand new 2021 TTRS. My car has had the ticking noise since day 1.. Not sure what to think about it..
My car still has full power though, and ive read that A LOT of people have the ticking sound. Apparently its part of the engine sound? Now you have me worried XD

Just over $2k. Wouldve been under $1k if I didn’t swap out all the injectors to the updated ones.

@@springroll703 no the car is tuned and has bolt ons so the dealer would say no if I brought it in and I’d get blacklisted.
Hey man, that sucks. I won't be doing E85 with mine then aha. I was wondering how bad your wastegate rattle is on a cold start? Can you do anything to reduce it? It's the only bad thing about the car.
Its not bad at all tbh. Don’t even notice it. Staying with a high flow cat is the only way to reduce it if you’re catless. Also going with a hybrid turbo setup. Swapping out the turbo for an IMS850s for example will eliminate it completely.
