that bird is beautiful im so happy for you!! However, huts can be very bad for birds especially females because they can get hormonal and one of them looks like cotten which can be fatal if the bird chews on it and ingests the fibers. Congrats on the birdtho im so jealous!!!^^

I've heard you should only stroke parrots around the head and neck like other birds in the flock would do because stroking her along the back or on the belly is behavior only a mate is allowed to do and this will cause hormonal problems where she might start randomly biting people and behaving badly its just something I read you should read into it as I don't know too much about it other than one article I read and a couple UA-cam vids I saw but there's certain things that can trigger a bird to get hormonal
Thank you. Yes after reading and researching more about birds i learned that you're only supposed to pet them on their head and neck. We're learning more and more about her everyday🙂
A gent who worked at / owned a bird store said pre-puberty it's not taken the same way (I didn't risk it as my bird was almost a year when I got her).
