Thing I loved about the starting point of Deku, was it was so in parallel of when he Saved Eri. Damaged and only meant to be there for a purpose, just to throw it out the door seeing a girl in trouble and taking that danger upon himself.

I wonder if Kohei Horikoshi saw Spider-Man in 2002. It’s one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen in my life.
I always though Spider Man was one of Izuku's inspirations.
He actually said that Spider-Man was what made him create Midoriya. Also that Spider-Man and Goku are his favorite heroes.
