Many would be shocked to know that this is accurately our past culture where we viewed Kama as an art that needs to be mastered instead of shame . Kama/sex is not just physical where one of the partner leaves bed when he is done or just sexual act. It involved a lot more like respecting woman, her needs, it's woman who chosed who to spend her night with and males used to master the art of seducing and pleasing a woman. And wives and husbands learned and read Kamasutra before their marriage(it involved mental, physical, emotional and intellectual appeasment)Hence their was a lot of respect back then rather than jealousy and objectification. And nobody touched another without their consent. And those who telling- yeh kab se dance ban gaya, ab toh family k saath kuch nahi dekh payenge. Etc etc.. Don't forget the same family visits our beautiful temples with beautifully sclupted kama yoga and dance poses where our Gods reside. So we can watch it's beauty and cherish it without vulgarising our minds .
